The 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 (𝗣𝗢𝗖𝗕) of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP), an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), successfully concluded its 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲, held from 30 August to 05 September 2026. The inaugural Mission marked a significant step in strengthening the international competitiveness and global presence of 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗖𝗔𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗢) providers by advancing business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market access in Singapore.

With the support of the 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗖) 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲, the delegation achieved key milestones throughout the Mission. Through a dedicated Philippine Booth, the country showcased its value proposition in green, cost-effective, and future-ready CAEDSO solutions for infrastructure development, urban transformation, smart and digital construction, and sustainability initiatives in Singapore and international markets.

The Forum brought together Philippine government and industry leaders from the construction, architecture, and engineering sectors to highlight the country’s strengths in construction and project delivery, architectural design, BIM and outsourcing, electrical engineering, sustainability, and other specialized services. It likewise served as a platform to connect Philippine firms with Singapore and global players, opening new avenues for business and collaboration.

This initiative generated significant business and market-development results, including potential project contracts, procurement of innovative technology solutions, and the signing of partnership agreements, while raising the profile of Philippine CAEDSO capabilities among Singaporean and international stakeholders. These results reinforce the Philippines’ position as a competitive and strategic CAEDSO partner for Singapore, offering skilled talent, technical expertise, cost competitiveness, and growing digital capabilities.

The Mission will culminate at BEX Asia 2026, where a dedicated 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 will spotlight Philippine CAEDSO strengths and connect Filipino players with construction, architecture, engineering, and built environment stakeholders from Singapore and international markets.

The Philippines continues to expand its global footprint in construction, architecture, and engineering services!

The Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB), together with the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) under CIAP-DTI, successfully concluded the 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 from April 25 to May 1, 2026, held alongside Sydney Build 2026.

The mission strengthened partnerships between Philippine and Australian industry leaders through high-level business meetings, networking activities, and the Philippine Forum on Partnership Opportunities for Australian Contractors.

A major milestone was the signing of 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐬) with Sydney Build and Melbourne Build—opening more opportunities for joint ventures, subcontracting, and integrated design partnerships as Australia ramps up major infrastructure projects, including preparations for the 𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟐 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬.

𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐁 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐔. 𝐆𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐨 highlighted the Philippines’ strengths in BIM-enabled workflows, digital engineering, and sustainable project delivery, while PCAB Executive Director Atty. Genaro Jacob reinforced the credibility and global competitiveness of Philippine contractors through internationally aligned accreditation and compliance systems.

The consultation reinforced the importance of strong government–industry collaboration in shaping a balanced and strategic Philippine negotiating position and advancing the global competitiveness of the local construction industry.
