𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮

The Ministry of Industry & Entrepreneurship Development in collaboration with the Event Management Association (EMA) of Sri Lanka, has launched Sri Lanka Events - the country's first-ever official national event calendar.

This platform has been developed to showcase Sri Lanka's vibrant cultural, entertainment, business and lifestyle event landscape on a unified, credible and globally accessible stage. It addresses a long-standing gap by providing a centralized directory of annual and national-level events, reviewed and supervised to ensure quality and alignment with national standards.

මෑතකදී ඇති වූ 'දිත්වා' සුළි කුණාටුවෙන් සිදු වූ විනාශයෙන් පසු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ සහ යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කිරීමේ කටයුතු සඳහා, පිලිපීන රජය විසින් ලබා දුන් ඇමරිකානු ඩොලර් 100,000 ක පරිත්‍යාගය ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජය වෙනුවෙන් පිළිගැනීමට ලැබීම පිළිබඳව මම සතුටු වෙමි. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පිලිපීන තානාපතිනි, ගරු නීනා පී. කේන්ග්ලට් (Nina P. Cainglet) විසින් අද දින මෙම පරිත්‍යාගය මා වෙත භාර දෙන ලදී.

​මෙම අභියෝගාත්මක අවස්ථාවේදී ශ්‍රී ලංකාව සමඟ සහයෝගීතාවයෙන් කටයුතු කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් පිලිපීන රජයට සහ එරට ජනතාවට මගේ අවංක කෘතඥතාව පළ කර සිටිමි.

இலங்கை அரசின் சார்பில், சமீபத்திய சைக்க்ளோன் டிட்வா ஏற்படுத்திய சேதங்களுக்குப் பிந்தைய மீள்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் மீட்பு நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு ஆதரவாக, Philippines அரசாங்கம் வழங்கிய அமெரிக்க டாலர் 100,000 நன்கொடையை இன்று Nina P. Cainglet அவர்கள் என்னிடம் கையளித்ததை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தேன்.

இந்த சவாலான நேரத்தில் இலங்கையுடன் ஒற்றுமையுடன் நின்ற Philippines அரசு மற்றும் மக்களுக்குப் என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

On behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka, I was pleased to accept a donation of USD 100,000
from the Government of the Philippines, handed over to me today by H.E. Nina P. Cainglet, Ambassador of the Philippines for Sri Lanka's reconstruction and recovery endeavors following the devastation caused by the recent Cyclone Ditwah.

I extend my sincere appreciation to the Government and the people the Philippines, for their solidarity with Sri Lanka during this challenging time.
