The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) met to align strategic measures on preventing and forfeiting illegal and unauthorized reclamation, conducting comprehensive cumulative impact assessments, facilitating the survey and titling of reclaimed lands, and increasing usable public spaces for social and environmental needs.

The meeting was attended by DENR Secretary Juan Miguel T. Cuna, PRA Chairman Atty. Alexander T. Lopez, PRA General Manager and CEO Engr. Cesar S. Siador, Jr., PEA Tollway Corporation Chairman Anthony Peter Crisologo, PRA Board Directors Dr. Fernando Siringan and Eligio T. Ildefonso, PRA Assistant General Manager Atty. Johanna Irene Gargantiel, and Special Assistant to the Corporate Head Manuel Martin Escasura.

Together, the PRA and DENR remain committed to enforcing regulatory compliance, protecting coastal resources, and ensuring sustainable development across all reclaimed areas nationwide.

The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) and the Office of the Presidential Adviser for Pasig River Rehabilitation (OPA-PRR) joined forces on Wednesday, September 30, to discuss potential strategies for sustainable waterfront development along the Pasig River corridor.

Delegates from the OPA-PRR convened with PRA officials to deliver an initial agency presentation on the "Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli" (PBBM) Pasig River Urban Development Project.

The preliminary coordination focused on exploring sustainable waterfront development that aims to provide more public and green spaces along the riverbanks. Both agencies agreed to align further technical assessments as framework discussions progress.

The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) appeared before the Senate Committee on Finance (Subcommittee H) for the deliberation of the proposed budget for Phase 2 of the Philippine International Exhibition Center (PIEC) Project.

The budget deliberation, presided over by Senator Erwin Tulfo, provided an opportunity for the PRA to present the proposed funding requirements and key components of Phase 2 of the PIEC Project in support of its continued development.
