MEET THE GRANTEES OF SFAP 2025 CYCLE 1! 📢
The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) proudly congratulates the grantees of the Student Film Assistance Program (SFAP) 2025 Cycle 1!
SFAP, under FDCP’s Academic Film Society (AFS), awards student filmmakers with grants ranging from Php 30,000 to Php 50,000 to support the production of their thesis films. Grantees also have the chance to screen their films at the FDCP Cinematheque Centres across the country.
As part of their grant, a one-day online Masterclass was held last June 28, 2025 with award-winning filmmaker Direk Pepe Diokno guiding students through pre-production, principal photography, and post-production.
Through this initiative, the FDCP continues to support young filmmakers in crafting passion, purposeful films and shaping the future of Philippine cinema.
Congratulations to all the grantees! We look forward to seeing your scripts come to life!
