Cagayan Economic Zone Authority Joins the Nation in Celebrating Judiciary Month 2026.

This June, the Philippines marks Judiciary Month, celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Supreme Court. Declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 1265, s. 2026, the observance calls on government agencies, local government units, the private sector, and civil society to support and partake in the commemoration. Established on June 11, 1901 through Act No. 136 of the Philippine Commission, the Supreme Court has stood as a pillar of justice—first led by Chief Justice Cayetano Arellano. In line with this milestone year, the Court unveils a series of activities under the theme: “SC: 125 Years of Tradition and Innovation.”

CEZA remains committed to supporting the principles of justice and transparency as we continue to build a future-ready economic hub in Northern Luzon.

The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), through its Lingkod-CEZA Program, teamed up with a CEZA locator, Northrock Resources Corporation, for this 2026 Brigada Eskwela! To ensure that students in the Cagayan Freeport have safer, cleaner, and better learning environments, essential repair and rehabilitation materials were distributed to local beneficiary schools.

By upgrading these classrooms and facilities, CEZA and its partners continue to invest in the well-being and success of the community's youth. Here’s to a great, productive school year ahead!

PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE

The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) hereby disseminates an urgent safety advisory from the DILG and the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) regarding the scheduled launch of China's Long March 7A rocket between 12:08 AM and 1:12 AM PhST on May 27, 2026. While debris are not projected to fall on land, a marine debris drop zone is located approximately 69 NM away from Santa Ana, Cagayan.

Out of an abundance of caution, all maritime operators and fishing vessels are strictly advised to AVOID this drop zone during the launch window. Coastal residents and CEZA- registered business enterprises may observe unusual phenomena such as bright lights or sonic booms, and are advised NOT TO PANIC. Lastly, considering the possibility that floating rocket debris may drift toward nearby coastlines over time, the public is also strictly cautioned against APPROACHING, TOUCHING, OR RETRIEVING ANY MATERIALS SUSPECTED TO BE PART OF THE DEBRIS due to the risk of toxic rocket fuel remnants. Any sightings must be REPORTED to local authorities.
