๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: The Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) successfully concluded its three-day New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) or Republic Act No. 12009 Training on 25, 26, and 28 May 2026 in Makati City. The training was facilitated by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Open University System - Institute of Continuing Professional Development, with resource speakers from the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB)'s pool of recognized trainers.

Representatives from the CIAP Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), BAC Technical Working Groups, and implementing units participated in the training. During the three-day training, participants learned about the salient provisions of the new procurement law and its implementing rules and regulations, including the enhanced procedures, strengthened accountability mechanisms, and digital innovations.

This capacity-building initiative is part of the continuous efforts of the CIAP management to improve the delivery of programs and services through the strengthening of its internal systems and processes.

The CIAP remains supportive of the national governmentโ€™s thrust to build a more transparent, more efficient, and fairer government procurement system in the Philippines.

In line with the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP)โ€™s initiatives to enhance its operational efficiency for the effective delivery of programs and services, the agency will conduct an employee orientation on ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) on 02 June 2026.
