My first mission for 2026 is special.

I was invited as guest speaker of Camp Ricarte Station Hospital under the Western Command of the AFP during its 50th anniversary.

I thank the men and women in uniform for this honor, especially its chief nurse Col. Cloma-Corpuz, who happened to recruit me back in 2019.

This was during the 97th anniversary of the Philippine Nurses Association held in Waterfront Hotel in Cebu.

Have you ever wondered if older people could have treated you with more respect if you're not the young person you are now?

I do.

And I guess I either wait until I'm old or simply ignore and move on.

We all have our own share of ups and downs — regardless of who we are, what we do, what our social status is.

I've been depressed, down. But after the process is over, I got back and realized that in life, there's a cycle to master:

First, disruption. Second, realization. Third, creation. And back to disruption again and so on and so forth it becomes a cycle.

I'm honored to share my leadership insights with our Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 9 and Philippine Army Tabak Division in Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Thanks to our TOG-9 Group Commander Col. Sharon Louie Carvajal-Montallana, PAF (GSC) for flying me in to contribute to our forces down there in the Southern Philippines.

My heart is full.

One call — just one call — and I found myself in front of my fellow men and women in uniform. Time and again, I’m honored to give an inspirational leadership speech to our airmen and airwomen.

Interesting, we have other officers from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

This class is special and I’m glad to have been given the privilege to teach the future leadership of our Air Force.
