Media professionals interested in covering the Belém Climate Summit and COP30 (Nov 10–21) will need two separate accreditations 📝
The media badges issued by the UNFCCC for the COP will not grant access 🚫 to the Summit, which requires specific authorization issued exclusively through its own accreditation system.

Today, our 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙀𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙮 (𝙄.𝘾.𝙀.) 𝙃𝙪𝙗 was visited by a diplomatic delegation consisting of Ambassadors/Representatives from the European Union, Australia, Norway, Canada, Switzerland, Brazil, and New Zealand. The visit was organized by the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Philippines.
Through our 𝗜.𝗖.𝗘. 𝗛𝘂𝗯, we are able to incubate and develop innovations and opportunities that will lead to waste reduction, resource recovery, and more livelihood opportunities for Pasigueños.
Included in what is currently housed at our 𝗜.𝗖.𝗘. 𝗛𝘂𝗯 are our:
🔵 waste management system (loading conveyor, trommel bag opener, sorting line conveyor, baler machine, rapid composter, confederate mixer, bottle and glass crusher, volume reduction shredder, multipurpose shredder),
🔵 mobile MRFs that can go around different barangays, and
🔵 skilled weavers trained by the Bayo Foundation, as well as other micro and small circular economy enterprises.
More to come and we will scale up the successes that we have had, as well as combined it with a strengthened segregation and recycling campaign that starts at our schools and communities.
