👉 5-year term for all Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Officials

Dahil dito, ang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections sa November 2, 2026 ay hindi na itutuloy. Kinakansela na rin ng COMELEC ang Calendar of Activities, kasama na ang Filing of Certificates of Candidacy mula September 28 hanggang October 5, 2026, pati na rin ang mga kaugnay na Prohibitions on Disbursement of Public Funds, Transfer, Appointment, Promotions, Suspensions, atbp, at ang nakatakdang Election Period simula October 3, 2026.

ILOILO -- Wala pa sang pagbag-o sa preparasyon sang Commission on Elections para sa 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

Ini ang ginpahibalo ni Atty. Dennis Ausan, Comelec 6 Director sa pihak sang mga gin-aprubahan nga hagna sa Senado kag Kamara nga naga-postpone sa amo nga pinili-ay.

Ginpahayag ni Ausan nga samtang wala pa sang laye nga napirmahan para sa postponement sang BSKE, magapadayon ang ila preparasyon santu sa Republic Act 12232 nga amo ang naga-schedule sang eleksyon sa Nobyembre 2.

Base sa calendar of activities sang Comelec, gintalana sa September 28 tubtob October 5 ang filing sang Certificate of Candidacy (COC).

Masugod naman ang election period sa Oktubre 3 tubtob Nobyembre 9 kag ipatuman sa amo nga period ang election gun ban.

Gin-schedule sa October 22 tubtob October 31 ang official campaign period, ginadumilian ang pagpangampanya sa Nobyembre 1, kag Nobyembre 2 ang election day kadungan sang pag-obserbar sang All Souls’ Day

“Pwede ba akong kumuha sa pinakamalapit na COMELEC office kahit sa ibang bayan o lungsod ako rehistrado?”

Ang sagot ay HINDI PO. ❌

Ang LOCAL Voter’s Certification ay maaari lamang makuha sa mismong Office of the Election Officer (OEO) ng lugar kung saan ka rehistradong botante.

💡 Tip: Bago bumiyahe at pumila, siguraduhing tama ang COMELEC office na pupuntahan mo para hindi masayang ang oras!
