𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖?

May 28 marks the anniversary of the Battle of Alapan in 1898, where Filipino revolutionists led by General Emilio Aguinaldo achieved their first major military victory against Spanish forces in Imus, Cavite. Following the triumph, the newly sewn Philippine National Flag was unfurled and hoisted for the very first time.

By virtue of Executive Order No. 179, the celebration actually extends from May 28 to June 12 (Independence Day). During this window, all government offices, business establishments, schools, and private homes are encouraged to prominently display the National Flag to display solidarity and national pride.

𝐄𝐈𝐃 𝐀𝐋-𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐀 𝐌𝐔𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐊

People's Park Valenzuela - Early this morning, the 1301st Community Defense Center joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in the celebration of 𝐄𝐈𝐃 𝐀𝐋-𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐀 2026.

Troops from the 1301st Community Defense Center (TASKFORCE CAMANAVA) hit the ground early to ensure and provide security assistance, guiding Muslim commuters to safely cross the busy roads while simultaneously preparing food supplies for distribution.

As the local Muslim community gathered for their morning prayers, our troops maintained a disciplined and respectful observance of this occassion while securing the perimeter. Immediately following the conclusion of the prayers, the 1301st RRIBn sprang into action. Personnel efficiently managed the crowd flow and distributed food packs to the attendees, ensuring everyone was nourished and taken care of.

This successful distribution was led by Sgt Jimenez PA (Res), Company Operations NCO, and conducted under the strict supervision of 1LT JONATHAN A. PEREZ PA (RES), Commanding Officer of Charlie Company.

On this blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Armed Forces of the Philippines stands in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters in celebrating faith, sacrifice, compassion, and unity.

May this sacred celebration inspire peace, strengthen understanding among communities, and renew our shared commitment to service and nation-building.

In a steadfast commitment to maintaining peak operational readiness, the personnel of the 1301𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐂𝐃𝐂) under the First Category Reserve (Task Force CAMANAVA), recently underwent a rigorous Physical and Medical Examination (PME).

The vital health initiative was spearheaded by 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐋 𝐌 𝐀𝐆𝐏𝐀𝐎𝐀 𝐏𝐀 (𝐆𝐒𝐂), 1301𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐃𝐂 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑, and 1𝐋𝐓 𝐉𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐙 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒), 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑, "𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄" recognizing that Philippine Army’s greatest asset is the health of its troops, the leadership prioritized this comprehensive screening to guarantee that every personnel member is fully capable of answering the call of duty.

To ensure the highest standard of medical evaluation, the 1301st CDC partnered with Shinagawa Diagnostic and Preventive Care, a leader in advanced healthcare solutions. The collaborative effort was seamlessly coordinated alongside Ms. Mariel Mandi, Junior Manager of Shinagawa, whose team provided top-tier medical assessments for the reservists.

The Core Objective: This activity goes beyond routine protocol—it is a vital measure to ensure that all active Reservists are both physically and mentally fit to execute their mandates, support community defense, and respond to national emergencies at a moment's notice.
Through proactive initiatives like this PME, the 1301st RRIBn continues to prove that readiness is not just about training, but about the holistic well-being of the men and women in uniform.
