| Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno commended the Philippine Navy's Naval Command Western Mindanao led by Rear Admiral Constancio Arturo M. Reyes Jr for its successful maritime interdiction operations that resulted in the seizure of approximately ₱474 million worth of undocumented ci******es in the waters of Western Mindanao.
The agency lauded the Philippine Navy for its steadfast efforts in protecting the country's maritime borders and disrupting the entry of smuggled goods. The BOC remains committed to supporting whole-of-government efforts against smuggling in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to strengthen border security and combat economic sabotage.
