"No rain is too heavy when hearts are ready to serve."
Pacuan Elementary School, Malasiqui, Pangasinan - Amid the enhanced southwest monsoon that brought heavy rains and challenging weather conditions, the Members Church of God International (MCGI) pressed on with its Medical, Dental, and Optical Mission on August 19, 2026, to extend free health and wellness services to hundreds of beneficiaries.
A total of 764 recipients benefited from this mission. Dr. Chris Diancin led the dental services and catered 27 recipients, while Dr. Antonio Alayon Jr. headed the optical services for 87 beneficiaries. Medical consultations and services, led by Dr. Theresa Parayno, served 53 recipients. Meanwhile, Bro. Lexor Bumanlag, together with the MCGI staff, provided free haircuts to 47 recipients.
Said mission commenced with a short program led by Bro. Daniel Razon.
Beyond health services, the outreach also shared free meals with 550 recipients, a reflection of MCGI’s commitment to caring not only for the physical needs of the community but also for their well-being and nourishment. The event was further supported by the News and Rescue Team, led by dedicated MCGI volunteers and MDOC members, whose collective efforts helped ensure the smooth delivery of services despite the inclement weather.
Through the rain, service continued.
Through service, compassion shone even brighter. The MCGI-led mission became a powerful reminder that when hearts are united by a genuine desire to help, no storm, no rain, and no challenge can stop kindness from reaching those in need.
With this, Pacuan Elementary School, through its school head, Mrs. Jovita C. Garan, expressed its heartfelt gratitude in her closing message for the free health services extended by the MCGI that brought care, comfort, and hope to the entire community.
To God be the highest glory!
