𝗚𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

In celebration of the 𝟭𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 (𝗣𝗖𝗦𝗔), the 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 recognized the dedication and invaluable contributions of public servants under the theme, “𝘽𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙞, 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙤𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙞: 𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙤, 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡, 𝙖𝙩 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣.” The celebration was held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶, 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗴 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗣𝗼𝗽 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲 – 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹

As part of the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 under 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻, the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗢𝗣 𝗗𝗘𝗩 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 was held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶 𝗜 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶, 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻.

Calbeg National High School secured 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗣𝗼𝗽 (𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁) 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲.

Representing the school, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗢. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇 of 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟬-𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 demonstrated his knowledge and skills in History and Population Development, earning a strong finish in the district-level competition.

He was coached by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗢. 𝗡𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘀𝗮, 𝗧-𝗩𝗜, with the guidance of 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗟𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗔. 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇, 𝗧-𝗜𝗜𝗜, 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, and the support of 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗖. 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.

𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶 𝗜 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗴 𝗡𝗛𝗦

The 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶 𝗜 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 was held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

The tournament brought together student-athletes from 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗴 𝗡𝗛𝗦, 𝗟𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗯 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗛𝗦, 𝗟𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗯 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗛𝗦, 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗰 𝗡𝗛𝗦, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶 𝗡𝗛𝗦, providing an avenue for athletes to showcase their skills, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit.

The event was hosted by 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, headed by 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗖. 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, with 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 serving as 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 and 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮 as 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿.

The activity highlighted the importance of sports in promoting discipline, teamwork, camaraderie, and healthy competition among student-athletes across the district.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 to all the winners, coaches and participating student-athletes for their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship. The qualified athletes will advance to the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹, which will be held on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮–𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗴 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹

Calbeg National High School held an 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, to strengthen preparedness and promote awareness of proper safety and emergency response procedures among learners and personnel.

The activity was 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 under the leadership of 𝗣𝗟𝗧𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗔. 𝗦𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗿., 𝙋𝙉𝙋, 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙞. The PNP personnel also provided an orientation and short discussion on active threat awareness, appropriate safety measures, and the importance of being prepared at all times.

Calbeg NHS extends its appreciation to 𝗣𝗖𝗠𝗦 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗝. 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮, 𝗣𝗖𝗠𝗦 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗕. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶ñ𝗼, 𝗣𝗠𝗦𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗗. 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 for their time, guidance, and support in the conduct of the activity.

The activity also gained the participation and support of the 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗲𝗴, headed by 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗕. 𝗕𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴, and the 𝗦𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, headed by 𝗦𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮 𝗠. 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗻. Their participation further strengthened the collaboration among the school, community, and parents in promoting a safe and prepared school environment.

Well done to the learners for their active participation and cooperation throughout the drill. Appreciation is also extended to the teachers and school personnel for their assistance in ensuring the orderly and successful conduct of the activity, with the support and guidance of 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿. Calbeg National High School has installed 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿-𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 at the school gymnasium as part of its efforts to improve the facility and provide a more functional and accessible space for school activities. The initiative is headed by 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗖. 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.

The solar lights provide better lighting, especially during school programs and activities held beyond regular daylight hours, while the additional sockets support the use of essential equipment and devices during events.

This improvement contributes to a safer, more convenient, and more functional gymnasium for learners, teachers, and the school community.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗴 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝟮-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Calbeg National High School conducted its 𝟮-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻-𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗧) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, providing teachers with opportunities to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and teaching practices.

The program opened with a 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 from 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗖. 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of continuous professional learning among teachers.

The first session, led by 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗥. 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘀, 𝗧-𝗩𝗜, focused on “𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙫𝙨. 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮: 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢.” The session strengthened teachers’ understanding of assessment practices in monitoring learner progress and mastery.

𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗖. 𝗝𝘂𝘇𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮, 𝗧-𝗜𝗜𝗜, discussed “𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨, highlighting strategies that can help address learners’ reading difficulties and develop their reading skills.

The training concluded its sessions with 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗣. 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇𝗼, 𝗧-𝗩𝗜, who discussed “𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝: 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣,” emphasizing the importance of clearly identifying and describing a research problem as a foundation for relevant and meaningful research.

The 2-Day INSET served as a venue for professional learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among the teachers of Calbeg National High School, supporting their continuous development and commitment to quality education.
