Nakibahagi ang 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐒 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐉𝐀𝐈𝐋, sa pangunguna ni 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐂 𝐁𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, kasama ang mga personnel ng jail unit, sa pagdiriwang ng 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭 na ginanap sa Republika Park, harap ng New City Hall, Lungsod ng Malolos nitong ika-28 ng Mayo 2026.

Ang nasabing programa ay bahagi ng paggunita sa ika-128 Anibersaryo ng Deklarasyon ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas at bilang pagbibigay-pugay sa kasaysayan, kasarinlan, at diwa ng pagkakaisa at pagkamakabayan ng sambayanang Pilipino.

Lubos ding ikinararangal ng Malolos City Jail ang pagtanggap ng watawat mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Malolos bilang simbolo ng pagkilala, pagkakaisa, at patuloy na paglilingkod para sa bayan.

Nawa’y manatiling buhay sa puso ng bawat Pilipino ang diwa ng kalayaan at pagmamahal sa ating Inang Bayan para sa susunod na henerasyon.

|Strengthening preparedness and enhancing tactical skills for emergency situations.

On this day, the personnel of 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥, under the leadership of 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐂 𝐁𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, successfully conducted a 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 facilitated by 𝐉𝐎𝟏 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐃. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 and 𝐉𝐎𝟏 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀. 𝐆𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐛 𝐉𝐫.

The activity focused on proper disarming techniques against opponents armed with knives and handguns, equipping personnel with practical defensive skills necessary during emergency situations. This training further enhanced the capability, alertness, and readiness of personnel in maintaining safety and security inside the facility.

Through continuous training and preparedness, the Jail Unit remains committed to professionalism, discipline, and effective public service.

On this day, the Malolos City Jail headed by 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐂. 𝐁𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀, 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, conducted a coordination and request assistance activity regarding the proposed construction of the New Malolos City Jail. The activity was carried out through the Office of the 1st District Congressman of Bulacan, Danny A. Domingo, to seek financial assistance and support for the funding of the said project.

The activity aimed to strengthen collaboration with the local government and national agencies in addressing the need for an improved and more secure jail facility that will promote the welfare, safety, and rehabilitation of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), as well as BJMP personnel. During the coordination, the unit formally presented the significance of the proposed New Malolos City Jail and emphasized the necessity of additional funding support for its realization.

Furthermore, the request highlighted the commitment of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in providing a humane, safe, and development-oriented correctional facility aligned with the agency’s thrust of improving jail management services. The activity concluded positively with the expression of support and consideration from the Office of Congressman Danny A. Domingo for the continuous development of the New Malolos City Jail project.

As part of the continuing efforts to strengthen tuberculosis (TB) prevention and promote accessible healthcare services, Malolos RHU 2 and RHU 7 successfully conducted a Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT) Screening and blood extraction activity for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

The activity was spearheaded by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐕. 𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐌.𝐃.,𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝑫𝒐𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓, together with 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, 𝐑𝐍, 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐨, 𝐑𝐌𝐓, 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕, and the dedicated RHU staff who worked collaboratively to ensure the successful implementation of the program.

A total of 102 male PDLs benefited from the conducted screening and blood extraction procedures. The activity aimed to identify individuals who may be at risk of tuberculosis and provide appropriate preventive interventions through early detection, medical assessment, and health monitoring.

Through continuous collaboration and community-based healthcare efforts, the Malolos City Jail and RHUs remain steadfast in promoting public health and supporting the campaign for a healthier and TB-free community.

On May 13, 2026, 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐎 𝐓. 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐎, 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑨𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒏, together with 𝐉𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐂. 𝐁𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀, 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, and two personnel of Malolos City Jail, participated in the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the HIV Screening and Testing Program for all Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and Personnel in Bulacan.

This meaningful initiative was conducted in partnership with 𝙐𝙨𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙮𝙤 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙, headed by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐏𝐞ñ𝐚, , 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, represented by 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝐃. 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬,𝐑𝐍, 𝑬𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑼𝒔𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒚𝒐 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 and 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐍 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐫.,𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒇𝒇.

On May 13, 2026, the Malolos City Jail, under the leadership of JCINSP MARK GERALD C. BAUTISTA, City Jail Warden, in partnership with the Bulacan State University Extension Service through the College Education Behind Bars (CEBB) Program, successfully conducted a Housekeeping Assessment for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) of this unit.

With dedication, perseverance, and hard work, all participating PDL successfully passed the assessment, marking another milestone in their journey toward self-improvement, skills development, and productive reintegration into society.

This achievement reflects the continuous commitment of the Malolos City Jail and its partner institutions in empowering PDL through education and livelihood opportunities.

The activity aimed to formalize the partnership and collaborative efforts between the Malolos City Jail and the Department of Education (DepEd) Malolos in promoting volunteerism, community participation, and support for educational institutions through the annual Brigada Eskwela program.

This initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of all participating agencies and schools in fostering unity, shared responsibility, and public service toward creating a safe, conducive, and better learning environment for students in the City of Malolos.

The donated items include a refrigerator, gas stove, blender, microwave oven, electric kettle, electric oven, meat grinder, food processor, and other essential tools that will greatly support the daily needs and rehabilitation activities of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). These resources will significantly enhance food preparation and skills development initiatives within the facility. 🔌🍲

This act of generosity reflects a strong commitment to community partnership and the shared goal of uplifting the welfare of PDL by providing them with opportunities for growth, productivity, and reintegration into society. 🌱💙

The Malolos City Jail, under the leadership of 𝑱𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝑲 𝑮𝑬𝑹𝑨𝑳𝑫 𝑪. 𝑩𝑨𝑼𝑻𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑨, 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, together with 𝑱𝑶1 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑫. 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒍, 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓, actively participated in a radio guesting held at the Malolos City Information Office located in Brgy. Bulihan, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

The activity served as an avenue to inform the public of the unit’s recent accomplishments and ongoing initiatives. Among the highlights discussed were the awarding of usufruct for the construction of the New Malolos City Jail, which marks a significant step toward improving detention facilities, and the successful conduct of a mangrove tree planting activity in Brgy. Calero, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

These initiatives reflect the continued commitment of the Malolos City Jail to institutional development, environmental sustainability, and community engagement.

On May 4, 2026, 𝑱𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝑲 𝑮𝑬𝑹𝑨𝑳𝑫 𝑪. 𝑩𝑨𝑼𝑻𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑨, 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, together with six (6) personnel of this unit, participated in the flag raising ceremony held at Malolos City Hall.

This regular activity reflects unity, discipline, and patriotism among government personnel, strengthening commitment to public service and nation-building. 🇵🇭

During the flag raising ceremony, the Local Government Unit of Malolos, headed by 𝐇𝐎𝐍. 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐘. 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐃. 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐃, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫, recognized and acknowledged the outstanding achievements of Malolos City Jail.

JCINSP MARK GERALD C. BAUTISTA, City Jail Warden, was commended for being the Top 2 Best City Jail Warden of the Quarter, while JO1 Shintaro J. Cuizon was recognized as the Best Jail Nurse (Type B).

Furthermore, Malolos City Jail was awarded as the Top 3 Best City Jail and Best Escorting Unit (Type B) of the Quarter, highlighting the unit’s continued excellence in jail management and service delivery.

Through the efforts of Malolos City Jail, under the leadership of 𝑱𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝑲 𝑮𝑬𝑹𝑨𝑳𝑫 𝑪. 𝑩𝑨𝑼𝑻𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑨, 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, in coordination with the dedicated personnel of PSA-Bulacan, a total of 72 male Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) were able to process their PhilSys registration, ensuring inclusion in national documentation and future government transactions.

This initiative highlights the commitment of Malolos City Jail to provide accessible government services within the facility, promoting inclusivity and equal access to essential identification systems.
