A weeklong nationwide anti-criminality drive of the Philippine National Police has resulted in the arrest of 311 suspects and the seizure of more than ₱816 million worth of illegal goods, marking a significant push in the campaign against crime and illicit trade.
From April 6 to 12, 2026, operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) carried out intensified operations targeting wanted persons, illegal fi****ms, and various forms of organized and economic crimes. The effort led to the capture of multiple fugitives, including several listed among the most wanted at regional, provincial, and local levels.
Authorities also recovered 45 loose fi****ms, including high-powered weapons, and 11 explosives such as hand grenades and rifle grenades, preventing their possible use in criminal activities.
In separate operations, police confiscated a wide range of illegal and counterfeit items, including unauthorized LPG products, fake medicines, unregistered v**e products, smuggled ci******es, and other contraband, with a total value of ₱816,737,546.00 .
PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., said the results reflect the organization’s intensified and focused law enforcement posture.
“Hindi natin titigilan ang operasyon laban sa kriminalidad. These results show that our police on the ground are working hard to track down fugitives and disrupt illegal activities. Tuloy-tuloy lang ang ating aksyon—walang puwang ang mga lumalabag sa batas,” PGEN Nartatez said.
He added that the public can expect sustained operations in the coming weeks as the PNP strengthens coordination and intelligence-driven actions nationwide.
“Ang mensahe namin malinaw—habulin namin kayo. Whether you are hiding or operating illegal businesses, we will find you and bring you before the law,” he stressed.
The nationwide operation forms part of the PNP’s intensified campaign aligned with its Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, supporting the broader peace and order efforts of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
With continuous operations being rolled out across the country, the PNP reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safer communities and maintaining public order, guided by its principle of Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.
