Human blood for transfusions is the only form of treatment that cannot be commercially manufactured. It is only possible if blood from kindhearted people is available.
Blood donors are considered modern Heroes who care enough to spend time to share their blood in order to save another person's life.

Municipal Health Office of Obando in partnership With Bulacan Blood Center will be holding a Blood Letting Project on SEPTEMBER 29, 2026 (Tuesday), from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Tawiran Health Center.

To be considered a blood donor, provided are the requirements for blood donation:
👉Ages 18 years old and above. Those below 18 years old must fill out a signed parent’s/guardian’s consent form
👉Weight at least 110lbs or 50kg
👉Have not donated blood for the past 3 months
👉No recent immunizations
👉At least 8 hours of sleep
👉No alcohol intake for the last 24 hours
👉No medications taken for at least 24 hours
👉For females, currently do not have their monthly period
