As of 2:00 PM today, 14 May 2026, a Low Pressure Area 05b (formerly "Caloy") is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is "UNLIKELY" to redevelop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Power Supply Update as of May 14, 2026, 1:30 PM:

The NGCP has raised YELLOW and RED ALERTS today due to shortages in power supply and power reserves from Luzon power plants.

YELLOW ALERT: 2:01 PM – 3:00 PM | 10:01 PM – 12:00 MN

RED ALERT affected areas may experience power outages from 3:01 PM – 10:00 PM.
