Proud and honored that Mambajao was one of the few municipalities invited to represent the Philippines to the 2026 Risk and Control and Special Equipment Exhibition and Conference for Anti-Terrorism (RISCON & SEECAT): Asia-Pacific Program on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Anti-Terrorism, and Public Safety, bringing together experts and leaders in disaster preparedness, public safety, and security at Tokyo, Japan.

Fresh from receiving our Gawad KALASAG Gold Award, we continue to look beyond recognition and learn from the best practices of other communities.

This opportunity allowed us to explore new technologies, international partnerships, and possible Sister City relationships that can bring better disaster response systems, stronger public safety, and new opportunities for Mambajao.

Our goal is simple: to bring home knowledge, partnerships, and solutions that will make Mambajao smarter, safer, and better prepared for the future. 💪

We are delighted to welcome back Camiguin Aviation as they resume their sightseeing flight operations in our island.

Launched the Farm Business School in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform for 30 farmer-beneficiaries in Mambajao. 🌱

The program helps our farmers strengthen not only their farming skills, but also their knowledge in managing the farm as a business—understanding costs, planning production, finding markets, and connecting directly with buyers and consumers.

This complements our Mambajao Agriculture Assistance Program, where the LGU supports farmers from registration, crop insurance, free farm inputs and training, all the way to marketing assistance and the sale of their harvest.

In short, while the LGU helps our farmers produce and sell, the Farm Business School helps them become better farm entrepreneurs.

We have seen how much our teachers give—not only inside the classroom, but also in the lives of the Mambajaonon children and families you serve. Behind every lesson you prepare, every learner you encourage, and every challenge you patiently overcome is a genuine commitment to help our young people become better individuals and, someday, better citizens of our community and our nation.

Teaching is not simply a profession. It is a responsibility that requires patience, compassion, courage, and a heart willing to serve. Many of the things you do may go unnoticed, but their impact lasts a lifetime.
