2ND ABRA PMFC JOINS BARANGAY ASSEMBLY

LOOK | On October 31, 2026, the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, led by PLT JONY AWIKANG, Platoon Leader, under the supervision of PLTCOL IGAN P BALLANGAN, Force Commander, together with other government agencies, participated in the 2nd Semester CY 2026 Barangay Assembly, with the theme, “Tayo na sa Barangay Assembly! Nagkakaisang Tinig, Makabuluhang Usapan, at Sama-samang Pagkilos para sa Ating Komunidad” in Manabo, Abra.

During the assembly, PLT AWIKANG highlighted the accomplishments of the 2nd Abra PMFC and its unwavering commitment to upholding the law and strengthening community relations. He emphasized the unit’s dedication to combating criminal activities, maintaining peace and order, and fostering a safer and more resilient community for all.

2ND ABRA PMFC DEPLOYS PERSONNEL FOR A SAFER UNDAS 2026

LOOK | October 31, 2026 — The 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company, under the leadership of PLTCOL IGAN P BALLANGAN, Force Commander, together with other government agencies, conducted a security deployment in cemeteries during Undas 2026 in Abra.

The personnel were deployed to maintain peace and order, address public safety concerns, and provide immediate response and assistance in case of emergencies. Their presence also aimed to ensure the safety and security of individuals and families visiting cemeteries to pay tribute to their departed loved ones.

The 2nd Abra PMFC remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting the community and serving the public, especially during significant occasions that require heightened security and vigilance.

2ND ABRA PMFC INTENSIFIES MOTORCYCLE PATROLS TO ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY

On October 31, 2026, personnel of the 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted intensified motorcycle patrol operations covering Barangays Palaquio and Tabiog up to Barangay Bangbangcag, Bucay, Abra, as part of the unit’s continuing efforts to strengthen police visibility, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety within its area of responsibility.

The operation aimed to deter criminal activities, monitor strategic areas, and enhance the unit’s capability to respond promptly to security concerns and emergencies. Through proactive patrolling, personnel maintained a visible police presence along the designated routes while promoting the safety and security of residents, motorists, and commuters.

On October 31, 2026, personnel of the 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted sustained checkpoint operations at Barangay Tangadan, San Quintin, Abra, as part of the unit’s continuing commitment to maintaining peace and order, enhancing police visibility, and preventing criminal and other unlawful activities within its area of responsibility.

The operation involved the lawful inspection of vehicles and individuals, monitoring of suspicious activities, and implementation of appropriate security measures to deter potential threats and ensure public safety. Personnel also provided assistance and guidance to motorists, commuters, and local residents, promoting road safety, public awareness, and cooperation with law enforcement authorities
