Please be informed that on April 1, 2026, the workforce of the Metropolitan Trial Court of Mandaluyong City will observe the following schedule: (a) work-from-home arrangements from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon; and (b) suspension of work from 12:00 noon onwards.

4-Day On-Site and 1-Day WFH Arrangement in MeTC, Mandaluyong City
Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 02-2026 of Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo dated March 8, 2026, the Court shall observe a four-day on-site and one-day Work From Home (WFH) arrangement. Odd- and even-numbered branches shall alternate between: (1) Monday to Thursday on-site with Friday as WFH, and (2) Tuesday to Friday on-site with Monday as WFH.
For scheduled hearings and other concerns, please contact the concerned branch or office through their respective hotlines or official email addresses for clarification.

The has approved the “2025 Transitory Rules on Electronic Filing and Service in the Supreme Court.”
The new rules will take effect on October 30, 2025, following their publication in the Official Gazette, in two newspapers of general circulation, and on the Supreme Court website.

Iginiit ng na ang isang “contract of sale of goods” o kontrata sa pagbebenta ng mga kalakal ay nakukumpleto na sa pamamagitan lamang ng kasunduan sa pagitan ng mga partido, kahit walang nakasulat na dokumento.
Sa Desisyon na isinulat ni Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul B. Inting, inutusan ng Third Division ng Korte si Marcelina Villanueva (Villanueva) na bayaran ang Coca-Cola Bottlers Phils., Inc. (Coca-Cola) para sa mga produktong inihatid sa kanya sa ilalim ng kanilang kasunduan sa dealership.
Kinasuhan ng Coca-Cola si Villanueva, na nagpapatakbo ng negosyo sa pangalan ng “Vedge Trading,” para mangolekta ng mahigit PHP 600,000 na hindi binayarang produkto. Depensa ni Villanueva, hindi siya kundi ang kanyang mga pamangkin ang namamahala sa negosyo.
Nagpasya ang Korte Suprema pabor sa Coca-Cola. Bagama't walang naipakitang nakasulat na kontrata, napatunayan ang pagbebenta ng mga kalakal sa pamamagitan ng iba pang ebidensya tulad ng mga pinirmahang delivery invoice na nagkukumpirma sa pagbili, terms of payment, at aktwal na paghahatid ng mga produkto.
