In celebration of the 91st National Book Week with the theme “𝓣𝓾𝓵𝓪𝔂 𝓪𝓷𝓰 𝓟𝓪𝓰𝓫𝓪𝓼𝓪 𝓼𝓪 𝓑𝓾𝓴𝓪𝓼 𝓷𝓪 𝓟𝓾𝓷𝓸 𝓷𝓰 𝓟𝓪𝓰-𝓐𝓼𝓪,” the 𝗦𝗙𝗡𝗖𝗦 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 will host a School Book Fair, featuring storytelling sessions from 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀.

Join us at the school plaza as we officially open the celebration with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, marking the start of a week filled with learning, stories, and fun!

🏅 We will also be recognizing our Top Borrower and Top Reader Awardees — students who have shown outstanding love for books and reading during the Culminating Day of the English Month.

It has come to my attention, in the most discreet of circles, that the library—ever the hub of tasteful intellect and refined leisure—has acquired a rather delightful collection of newly acquired volumes. Yes, you heard correctly, dear friends. Fresh titles, each more intriguing than the last, now grace our shelves.

Should you be in need of something novel to read, whether your tastes run toward the fantastical, the historical, or the most delightful of romantic entanglements, look no further. A carefully curated selection of books, rich with intrigue and ripe for the devouring, awaits your discerning gaze.

I must, however, caution you—such treasures have a habit of disappearing quite swiftly once the word is out. So, make haste, dear readers. Let no one say that you were not among the first to discover what now resides within these hallowed walls.

We are overjoyed to announce that our school has received re-accreditation for the next 5 years from PAASCU, one of the most prestigious accrediting teams in the field of education! 🙌 This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of our administators, faculty, staff, students, and the entire SFN community.

In addition, our Senior High School department is now eligible to apply for a formal visit, bringing us one step closer to further enhancing our educational offerings.

Tuwing Agosto ipinagdiriwang ang Buwang Wikang Pambansa. Nakikiisa ang Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas sa mahalagang selebrasyon na ito.

Sa pangunguna ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino, ang tema ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon ay “Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya.” Binibigyang tingkad nito ang wikang Filipino bilang instrumentong nagpapalaya. Ang pagdiriwang ay nakatugon sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1041 s. 1997 na nagpapahayag ng taunang pagdiriwang tuwing Agosto 1-31 bilang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, at naglalayon na maiangat ang kamalayan ng mga mamamayang Pilipino ukol sa wika at kasaysayan nito.

Ang dating Presidente Manuel Luis Quezon ang itinuturing na Ama ng Wikang Pambansa. Ngayong buwan ng Agosto din ipinagdiriwang ang anibersaryo ng kanyang kapanganakan at kamatayan. Siya ay ipinanganak noong ika-19 ng Agosto 1878 sa Baler, Aurora, at namatay noong ika-1 ng Agosto 1944 sa edad na 65.
