As we prepare to usher in the New Year's celebration, it is necessary to acknowledge those risks. But fireworks and firecrackers not only add a sparkle to festivities, they also bring their own dangers--from the threat of fire to injuries. This year, let's emphasize safety and knowledge.

In 2023, the Department of Health reported 211 fireworks-related injuries incidents. It’s not just the figures, any incident is a threat to people and communities. So this New Year, let's consider these facts. They provide a reason to draw attention to responsible celebration.
