๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐: In fulfillment of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โs directives to reform the transport sectorโensuring safer, more inclusive, and efficient mobility that leaves no one behindโthe Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (DOTr-SAICT) remains steadfastly deployed round-the-clock along the EDSA Carousel Busway.
On April 6, 2026, at 5:26 PM, at Ayala Station Carousel (northbound), SAICT Villamor and SAICT Sorolla of Team Foxtrot were on duty when a six-year-old boy with disability (PWD), traveling in a wheelchair with his father, requested assistance to board a bus.
Responding with immediate care and professionalism, the officers provided direct, hands-on support to ensure the young PWD boarded safely and comfortably. They further coordinated with the bus crew to guarantee a secure and smooth drop-off at Nepa Qmart Station.
This act of genuine public service exemplifies the governmentโs commitment: building a transport system that prioritizes the safety, dignity, and accessibility of all commutersโespecially our most vulnerable, including persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and families.
Under the leadership of President Marcos and the guidance of Secretary Giovanni Z. Lopez, DOTr-SAICT personnel are not only enforcing order and discipline on the Busway but actively protecting lives and upholding the rights of every rider. Their 24/7 presence ensures the EDSA Carousel remains a reliable, humane, and inclusive corridor for daily travel.
Moments like these remind us that true progress in transportation is measured not just by speed and efficiency, but by the compassion and readiness extended to those who need it most.
โSa bawat biyahe, may proteksyon. Sa bawat komyuter, may pag-asa. DOTr-SAICT: Laging handa, laging may puso.โ
