Location of Center (4:00 AM): The center of the eye of Typhoon “ODETTE” was estimated based on all available data including those from Hinatuan Doppler Weather Radar at 265 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (9.6°N, 127.9°E)
Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 165 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 205 km/h, and central pressure of 950 hPa
Present Movement: West Northwestward at 25 km/h
Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong winds or higher extend outwards up to 480 km from the center
