This year, we are searching for new Water-Wise awardees which will be recognized in the World Water Day celebration in March.

NWRB adopts Flexible Work Arrangements of DENR
January 14, 2026
As an attached agency of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the National Water Resources Board will align with the nationwide pilot implementation of the Department’s Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) effective January 19 to March 27, 2026.
Under Department Administrative Order (DAO) 2025-034, NWRB personnel will be assigned to flexible work setups based on the nature of their functions while maintaining the 40-hour workweek. Frontline and essential services will continue to be accessible on-site from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, in line with DENR guidelines. On Fridays, Work-From-Home arrangement will be implemented and services will be provided through NWRB’s online platforms.
The adoption of the FWA is consistent with policies of the Civil Service Commission, the Commission on Audit, and the Department of Budget and Management. This pilot program is expected to address long commuting times, ease traffic congestion, and reduce water, energy, and fuel consumption, while encouraging the increased use of digital platforms for internal and client transactions.

The NWRB invites you to the stakeholders’ consultation meeting on the Guidelines for the Regulation of Bulk Water Suppliers on 8 October 2025, 9:00 AM in Quezon City.
This event is designed for a focused and meaningful exchange among the most affected group of policy beneficiaries. Due to limited venue capacity and the curated nature of the said consultation, one representative only from an organization will be accommodated on a priority-based registration.
Additional guests or companions may be accommodated through online which will be provided upon registration.
