The suspension of classes for all public schools in Mandaue City is further extended until Wednesday, November 12, 2025, following the damage caused by Typhoon Tino.
Private schools are given the autonomy to adopt Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) at their sound discretion.

Due to requests for flexibility, both public and private schools may continue classes through asynchronous or synchronous methods as alternative modes as long as no physical/face-to-face classes sa pagkakaron.
To allow our students and families more time to cope with the recent earthquake episodes and to ensure everyoneโs continued safety, face-to-face classes in all levels both public and private schools in Mandaue remain suspended from October 20 to 24, 2025, or until further notice.
While the Mandaue City Government hopes to return to normal soon, we cannot take chances with safety and well-being of our students and teachers.

To allow our students and families time to cope with the recent earthquake episodes and ensure everyoneโs safety, face-to-face classes in all levels are suspended for one week starting Monday, October 13 or until further notice.
All public schools in Mandaue City shall shift to asynchronous learning through Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM). Private schools are likewise advised to adopt similar arrangements.
We are also coordinating with DepEd officials to mobilize the Cityโs manpower for psychosocial therapy programs in our schools.

Following the inspection conducted by the City Engineerโs Office over the past few days, we are glad to share that all public schools sa Mandaue City are safe to occupy for face-to-face classes starting Monday, October 6.
All public schools are generally safe to use, apan naa lang tay pipila ka restricted areas sa ubang mga eskwelahan that will remain temporarily closed for further assessment and repair.
Private schools are encouraged to resume face-to-face classes unless naa silay identified safety issues in their buildings.
Rest assured, the City Government of Mandaue continues to work closely with DepEd SDO Mandaue City and the Office of the Building Official to make sure that all school buildings remain safe and secure for our learners and teachers.

Face-to-face classes in all levels for public schools in Mandaue City remain suspended until Friday, October 3. All public schools under the Mandaue City Division shall temporarily shift to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM). Regular face-to-face classes shall resume on Monday, October 6.
Private schools may suspend classes at their discretion based on their own assessment of building safety. They may also request assistance from the Office of the Building Official and the City Engineering Office, if needed.

All public schools within the Mandaue City Division shall temporarily shift to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM). Private schools are encouraged to adopt alternative modes of teaching delivery or make arrangements for make-up classes.
