IT Infrastructure Division held a meeting to discuss updates, ongoing tasks, and other office matters. The activity also included the recognition of top-performing technical personnel in appreciation of their performance and achievements.

MISO would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mayor Jonkie Ouano for allowing MIS personnels to take part in the TESDA Fiber Optic Training NC II. We also extend our special thanks to Board Member Olin Seno, for the support that helped make this training opportunity possible.

Our appreciation goes to the trainers for sharing their knowledge and guiding our personnel throughout the training, as well as to everyone who participated in the different batches and worked hard to complete the program.

Congratulations to all MIS personnel who earned their NC II certifications! This achievement reflects the time, effort, and willingness to learn of everyone involved. May the skills gained through this training continue to help us improve our work and better support the city's fiber optic network.

Sophos Endpoint Protection Update

A presentation was held at the MIS Office featuring Sophos Firewall, with discussions on its continued use as an important layer of protection for the office’s network and systems.

The activity also covered the necessary preparations for the renewal to ensure continued firewall protection.

Some highlights from the ongoing Fiber Optic Training NC II. MIS personnels took part in hands-on activities and actual exercises covering fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.

The training continues with more practical activities and learning sessions as participants further develop their skills in fiber optic technology.
