Barangay Tipolo- Rescue & Solid Waste

The Rescue Committee attended the Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment Workshop held on April 14–17. Attending the Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment Workshop strengthened the Rescue Committee’s capacity to identify potential hazards and assess vulnerabilities within the community. It provided valuable knowledge on risk reduction strategies, preparedness planning, and effective emergency response. Through this training, the team is now better equipped to make informed decisions that enhance public safety and resilience. Ultimately, participation in the workshop ensures that the committee can proactively protect lives, property, and the environment in times of disaster.

Building connections, strengthening leadership. Through the Pederasyon ng mga Barangay Kagawad ng Pilipinas, our Co-Chairman (BDRRMC and BESWMC), Hon. Philip "Insik" Cuizon Philip Richard Cuizon II proudly attended the event, meeting remarkable individuals who can support and contribute to the continuous development of Barangay Tipolo.

He also had the opportunity to meet one of the fantastic organizers and was even invited to join them in a fun moment dancing to “Hawak Mo ang Beat,” making the experience both meaningful and memorable.☺️

We will do our best to schedule a fire drill soon, along with a hands-on demonstration on the proper use of fire extinguishers 🔥🧯 to ensure everyone is well-prepared in case of emergencies.
