Barangay Opao ERT Response Update 🚑🚒🔥

Earlier today, the Barangay Opao Emergency Response Team (ERT) responded to a fire incident at Sitio Santa Cruz, Barangay Jagobiao. Two patients sustained minor injuries — one with a foot puncture (tunok sa tiil) and another with minor burns caused by electrical sparks. Both were immediately treated; wounds were cleaned and burn ointment was applied.

The fire affected three houses — two were totally burned and one was partially damaged.

The Opao Emergency Response Team quickly responded to assist the students of Don Gerardo National High School after the earthquake earlier at 09:44 AM.

Two students fainted but were given immediate assistance. One was transported to Mandaue City Hospital, while the other was sent home.

After assisting the students, the Opao ERT proceeded to inspect two school buildings. New Cracks were found, and one of the buildings is now slightly leaning towards the Barangay Hall.
