Demonstrating the Bureau of Jail Management and Penologyโs commitment to the welfare and well-being of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), a total of 1,650 PDL of Mandaue City JailโMale Dormitory received hygiene kits through the initiative of Regional Director JCSUPT LUISITO C MUรOZ, CESE.
The distribution was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Chief Logistics JCINSP RENZ JOSEPH D BASCUGIN and SAO NUP Mary Carmil H. Nemeรฑo, whose dedication ensured the timely delivery of essential hygiene supplies to the facility.
The hygiene kits were officially distributed under the leadership of JSUPT JESSIE JAMES C GINGOYON, Jail Warden, together with the personnel of Mandaue City JailโMale Dormitory. This initiative aims to promote personal hygiene, health, and sanitation among the PDL population, contributing to a safer and healthier custodial environment.
More than just providing basic necessities, this activity reflects the BJMPโs continued commitment to upholding the dignity, welfare, and humane treatment of PDL. Through programs such as this, the organization reinforces its mission of fostering a rehabilitative and caring environment within correctional facilities.

As part of its continuing commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free jail facility, the BJMP Mandaue City Jail โ Male Dormitory successfully conducted a Greyhound Operation under the leadership of JSUPT JESSIE JAMES C GINGOYON, Jail Warden, together with JCINSP DARREN JAY S CLORES, Assistant Jail Warden, and JINSP HENJIE C VILLALON, Chief, Security and Control.
The operation was carried out in close coordination with the Mandaue City Police Office (PNP), SWAT Team, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), demonstrating strong inter-agency cooperation in ensuring the safety and security of the facility.
The activity aimed to prevent the entry and presence of contraband and illegal substances within the jail, reinforcing the BJMP's commitment to upholding discipline, order, and security among Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
Through collaborative efforts and proactive security measures, BJMP Mandaue City Jail โ Male Dormitory remains steadfast in its mission to provide a secure environment conducive to the rehabilitation and transformation of PDL.

We were honored to have JO3 Carlo Lioneil E Carel as our Guest Speaker, who delivered an inspiring message centered on this weekโs Value Focus: PURPOSEFULNESS, emphasizing the importance of having a clear direction, intentional actions, and strong determination in achieving goals and fulfilling responsibilities.
The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder for all personnel to remain goal-oriented and to perform their duties with dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose in serving the public.

The Mandaue City Jail โ Male Dormitory proudly reports the successful participation in the 5-day Tactical Transport Training held at Talisay City Jail.
The training was conducted by nine (9) personnel from the STAR Team and was participated in by BJMP personnel across Region VII, headed by JSINSP ROYETTE S ARCIPE. It aimed to enhance operational readiness, security handling, and safe transport procedures for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). The training focused on strengthening competencies in Convoy Operations, Marksmanship, Tactical Combat Care, Tactical Handcuffing Method, Basic VIP Es**rt Stance Positioning, and Proper Pistol Handling, ensuring higher standards of safety and professionalism in custodial operations.
Representing Mandaue City Jail โ Male Dormitory were JO1 John Vincent P Ponla and JO1 Art R Mamon, who actively participated and successfully completed the said training under the guidance of Jail Warden JSUPT JESSIE JAMES C GINGOYON.

BJMP Mandaue City Jail โ Male Dormitory successfully facilitated the release of a Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) through the application of Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA), pursuant to Republic Act No. 10592.
The release was conducted by SJO2 Dexter P Abelarde, Chief PDL Records Officer; JO3 June C Orfano, Chief, Health Unit; JO2 Johanna Ericka A Ungay, PDL Records and Releasing Officer; and JO2 Terence B Enriquez, Chief, Paralegal Unit, following proper verification and compliance with all legal and administrative requirements.
This reflects the Bureauโs commitment to rehabilitation, restorative justice, and the recognition of good conduct among PDL.
The release process was carried out peacefully and orderly, without any untoward incident.
