182 Blood Donors were interviewed and screened for the said event.

Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital (Dept. of Health) conducted a Mass Blood Donation with National Kidney Transplant Institute (NKTI), METRONORTH Hospital and METROANTIPOLO Hospital last June 14,2022 at Dr Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, Tayuman

DOH - National Voluntary Blood Services Program

Blood donor advocacy lecture was held last June 13, 2022 at the Out Patient Department in coordination with HEPO DJFMH in celebration of the World blood donors day.
The advocacy was conducted by Dr Jesusa Galicia DRO and CMT Grace Vergara, RMT and the DJFMH Blood bank staff

📣In lieu with the ECQ status, we are still open for Blood Donation Services from Mondays to Fridays (6am to 12nn). You may still donate during this period, just follow the health protocol guidelines during this Enhanced Community Quarantine.

“Give blood and keep the world beating”

Hi!

In line with the upcoming World Blood Donor Day 2021 celebration, we are enjoining everyone to participate in one of our activities “Road to 1M Steps to Keep the World Beating”.

In relation to the theme of this year’s World Blood Donor Day, being physically active and having a healthy lifestyle is one of the strategies to keep our bodies strong and eligible for blood donation.

Using the “Pacer” application, participants shall simultaneously walk or run to reach the target steps of 1,000,000 which is the same as the 1% target for blood collection in the country. The challenge shall run from June 01-14, 2021.

Steps:
1. Download the application through the App Store (iPhone users) or Play Store (Android users).

2. Create an account and join the DOH NVBSP Group through this link (https://bit.ly/3hDXyyA) or by scanning the QR code.

3. After joining the DOH NVBSP Group, scan the QR code to participate in the “World Blood Donor Day 2021” activity by clicking “Join” or through this link (https://bit.ly/3wxLHX9).

4. Before and/or after finishing the activity, use the hashtags in your post. Do not forget to tag the FB Page of the NVBSP!

Make sure that your phone’s pedometer is synced with the app.
