Manila Search and Rescue Fire Volunteer provided medical standby coverage during the 15th anniversary celebration of Nuestro Señor Padre Jesus Nazareno Sr. Balat in Laguna st. Tondo, Manila.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated responders who worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone present. Your commitment, skills, and selfless service truly make a difference.

Manila Search and Rescue (MSR) conducted an Earthquake Drill Simulation together with the Barangay Officials of Barangay 145, Balut Tondo, Manila.

The activity aims to strengthen community preparedness and awareness in the event of a real earthquake emergency. Through this simulation, responders and residents practiced proper response, evacuation procedures, and coordination during seismic incidents.

MSR volunteers also demonstrated basic emergency response and initial medical assessment to ensure the safety and readiness of the community.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Barangay Officials and residents of Barangay 145 for their cooperation and support in making this activity successful.

A fire broke out in Intramuros, Manila, prompting an immediate response from Manila Search and Rescue (MSR). Our team swiftly responded to the scene and assisted CRV Malasakir Fire volunteer in fireground operations. Simultaneously, MSR personnel provided immediate medical assessment and treatment to affected individuals to ensure their safety and well-being.

Another productive day of intensive hands-on simulation training at the Manila Search and Rescue Fire Volunteer Base. Today’s scenario highlighted proper scene size-up, primary assessment (ABC approach), cervical spine stabilization, coordinated patient handling, and effective team communication during high pressure situations.

Each responder demonstrated focus, discipline, and teamwork while managing a simulated emergency case. From manual stabilization to patient packaging and preparation for transport, every step was executed with precision and professionalism.
Realistic training builds confidence. Repetition builds competence.

Through continuous drills and scenario-based exercises, we enhance our readiness to respond efficiently and safely in real-life emergencies.

Manila Search and Rescue (MSR) Rescue Unit successfully conducted a patient transfer to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center upon request of Nic Serida. The patient was safely transported due to chest pain, with continuous monitoring and proper medical care provided throughout the conduction.

A fire broke out in Corcuera, Tondo, Manila, prompting an immediate response from the Manila Search and Rescue. Upon arrival at the scene, the team encountered two (2) patients, one experiencing a panic attack, and another who sustained injuries after jumping from her home to escape the fire. Both patients were promptly assessed and managed by Manila Search & Rescue Fire Volunteer Inc. , ensuring proper evaluation and immediate care on-site.

Manila Search and Rescue Fire Volunteers were deployed on standby medical operations during the Procession held in celebration of the Feast of Don Bosco, as officially requested by the parish. In line with our commitment to public safety, the team conducted foot medic patrols throughout the activity to closely monitor the crowd, provide immediate medical assistance when needed, and ensure the overall safety and well-being of all participants, devotees, and spectators.

Special thanks to all MSR members who rendered duty during this event. Your dedication, discipline, and selfless service played a vital role in the successful and safe conduct of the feast of Don Bosco 2026.
