TANONG NG BAYAN | ATTENTION, FIRST TIME JOBSEEKERS!

Kung first time jobseeker at nais makakuha ng mga libreng dokumento para sa unang trabaho, kailangan ba ng diploma at transcript of records (TOR) kapag kukuha ng barangay certificate?

Ginagamit ang barangay certificate upang maging libre ang ilang government-issued documents para sa first-time jobseekers, fresh graduates at out-of-school youth.

Kung kukuha ng barangay certificate ang isang first time jobseeker, kailangang magpakita ng birth certificate sa designated barangay official ang kumukuha ng dokumento, pati na rin ang diploma, certification o kaugnay na dokumentong makapagpapatunay na nakapagtapos ng high school, college, vocational course o tunay na produkto ng learning institution ang first time jobseeker, base sa DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-128.

Nilagdaan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, noong Abril 10, 2019 ang Republic Act 11261 o ang First-Time Jobseekers Assistance Act.

World Day Against Trafficking is observed annually every July 30 to raise awareness on the situation of victims of human trafficking and for the promotion and protection of their rights. This year's theme "Use and Abuse of Technology" focuses on the role of technology as a tool that can both enable and stop human trafficking.

As the Philippines maintained its Tier 1 Ranking in the United States' 2022 Trafficking in Persons Report, the Philippine Commission on Women calls for the solidarity of all Juanas and Juans to be more involved in denouncing this issue, spreading awareness to prevent trafficking and exploitation, and to report any suspicious forms of trafficking to the Action Line: 1343.
