A historic visit marking a new chapter in Philippine-Paraguay relations took place on 11 May 2026. 🇵🇭🇵🇾
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. welcomed Paraguayan President Santiago Peña Palacios to Malacañan Palace — the first-ever official visit between the two countries — reaffirming a shared commitment to stronger cooperation and a lasting partnership.
The 𝟒𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 began with moments of welcome, and shared purpose—moving forward, together as one.
