𝐂𝐆𝐄𝐂𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐒 “𝐈 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐏𝐂𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄” 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝟔𝟏–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Coast Guard Ecumenical Chaplain Service (CGECS) successfully conducted the three-day “I LOVE PCG Course” Class 61–2026 on 25–26 and 28 May 2026 at the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Chapel, Coast Guard Base Farola, Manila. Twenty nine (29) personnel from the Coast Guard Weapons, Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems Command (CGWCEISC) completed the course.

The program was designed to reinforce the core values, commitment, and sense of mission of Coast Guard personnel, while cultivating servant-leaders who embody professionalism, integrity, and faith-driven service.

The course focused on the three foundational principles of the “I LOVE PCG” program:
• Love for People – fostering compassion, respect, and genuine concern for others;
• Love for Country – strengthening patriotism, honor, and dedication to duty; and
• Love for God – nurturing spiritual maturity and a higher sense of purpose in service.

The Graduation Ceremony was held on 28 May 2026, highlighted by the awarding of certificates, pinning of the “I LOVE PCG” badge, and an inspirational message from CAPT FRANCIS ARIEL O SUALOG PCG, Deputy Commander, CGECS.

In his message, CAPT SUALOG reflected on the significance of the Filipino greeting “Mabuhay!”—a call to live with hope, unity, patriotism, and dedication to service. He reminded the graduates that every Coast Guardian is entrusted with a greater mission: to faithfully serve the Filipino people, uphold the nation’s interests, and honor God through a life of integrity and commitment. He emphasized that beyond rank or position, the true measure of a Coast Guardian is a heart that serves with love for people, love for country, and love for God.

Through programs such as the “I LOVE PCG Course,” CGECS remains committed to supporting the Philippine Coast Guard in developing competent, values-driven, and mission-focused personnel who exemplify Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty.
