There are three elements that are almost always part of Lent: prayer, giving something up, and giving something back...

The Blue Dragon Fire & Rescue Volunteer Brigade Inc. (BDFRVBI) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel participated with other volunteer groups and government authorities as part of the event medical team in coordination with the LGU - Manila, Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), Civil Defence Action Group (CDAG) & Quiapo Multi Agency Command Center (Black Nazarene Semana Santa 2026 procession) at the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene (Quiapo Church) Quezon Blvd., Quiapo, Manila on April 2 - 3, 2026.

The team medical command post is located at Quezon Blvd. Quiapo, Manila (beside the Lacson Underpass fronting Quiapo Church). The team was assigned as segment leader to Quadrant 2 Segment 11.

About one hundred thirty (130) patients more or less were assisted and treated for various trauma and medical emergencies.

The Blue Dragon Fire & Rescue Volunteer Birigade Inc. attended the Misa Nobenaryo at the St. Joseph Parish Church, Juan Luna St., Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila in honor of the Solemn Feast of St. Joseph on March 11, 2026 Wednesday, 6:30pm mass.

The mass was led by Rev. Msgr. Mario D. Enriquez, parish priest of National Shrine of Saint Michael and the Archangels, J. P. Laurel corner General Solano Sts., San Miguel, Manila.

(BDFRVBI) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel as Tour Medics during the Parish Lenten Pilgrimage 2026 Lakbay Dasal sa Pampanga of the St. Joseph Parish Church, Juan Luna St., Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila on March 07, 2026 Saturday from 5:00am - 7:00pm

Two hundred thirty (230) more or less peregrines-participants visited four churches:

1) St. James the Apostle Parish Church (Betis Church), San Agustin Road, Brgy. San Miguel, Betis District, Guagua, Pampanga

2) San Guillermo Parish Church, Brgy. Cabambangan, Bacolor, Pampanga

3) Minor Basilica and Parish of the Holy Rosary, Sto. Rosario St., Brgy. Sto. Rosario, Angeles City, Pampanga

4) Archdiocesan Shrine of Christ, Our Lord of the Holy Sepulcher, C. Dayrit St., Brgy. Lourdes Sur, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Four (4) patients was catered, assisted & treated.

The Blue Dragon Fire and Rescue Volunteer Brigade Inc. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel responded to a trauma and behavioral emergency (self inflicted/harm injury) involving a female patient located at Vergara St., Quiapo, Manila.

The team assisted and provided emergency medical care to the patient and was transported to the Tondo Medical Center, Honorio Lopez Blvd (formerly North Bay Blvd.), Balut, Tondo, Manila for immediate care.

The Blue Dragon Fire and Rescue Volunteer Brigade Inc. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel responded to a medical emergency (suspected hyperglycemia) involving a female patient located at our Medical Command Post, P. Casal corner Arlegui and Nepomuceno Sts.,Quiapo, Manila.

The team assisted and provided emergency medical care to the patient and was transported to the Manila DRRMO Emergency Field Hospital, Natividad Lopez St., Ermita Manila for immediate care.

It's been an honor to serve - Traslasyon 2026.

Blue Dragon Fire and Rescue Volunteer Brigade Inc. (BDFRVBI) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel, with volunteers from Manila Fire District Fire & Rescue, JEC Fire and Rescue Volunteer Brigade, Philippine Red Cross (Makati, Taguig & Mandaluyong Branch), Quezon City Firefighters Association Inc., ERD Quality Care Ambulance Service, Department of Health (DOH) contingent (Philippine Orthopedic Center) and other volunteers assigned at Segment 7 participated as part of the Event Medical Team on the Nazareno 2026 of the Black Nazarene at Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, Quezon Boulevard, Quiapo, Manila.

The BDFRVBI was assigned as Segment Leader of Segment 7, Quadrant 2, Area 3 and was under the supervision of our affiliates Civil Defence Action Group (CDAG), Quiapo Church Authorities and our Medical Command Post is located at Arlegui corner Nepomuceno and P. Casal Streets, Quiapo, Manila (beside Technological Institute of the Philippines)

The BDFRVI team assisted, catered & provided medical care to hundreds of patients (BDFRVBI Medical post area) for various trauma and medical emergencies with six patients transported to the various hospital.

Thank You to the Quiapo Church, LGU of Manila, Manila DRRMO, CDAG for the opportunity to serve.

Hospital, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, Metro Manila to Las Piñas City, Metro Manila.
