𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Through continuous collaborations with our counterpart, the Philippine Navy, four (4) Medical Administrative Corps Officers joined the convening ceremony of the Philippine Navy Personnel Management Basic Officers Course Class 06-2026, on 30 March 2026 at the NPMC Annex Building, Naval Station Jose Francisco, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, with 𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑻 𝑾𝑰𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑹 𝑺. 𝑹𝑶𝑩𝑳𝑬𝑺 𝑷𝑵 (𝑮𝑺𝑪), 𝑨𝑪 𝒐𝒇 𝑵𝑺 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑵𝟖), as Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The Course is a comprehensive professional development program designed to strengthen the human resource management capabilities of uniformed personnel. It further aims to enhance participants’ competence in personnel administration and management by fostering the knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities needed to effectively manage human resources in both operational and administrative functions.

During the Convening Ceremony, the Guest of Honor and Speaker, CAPT ROBLES PN (GSC), emphasized that camaraderie is essential to effective leadership and teamwork, as it fosters trust, strengthens collaboration, boosts morale, and enables teams to achieve organizational goals effectively.

As future personnel managers, we bear a critical responsibility in advancing mission success by ensuring effective personnel management and safeguarding the welfare and well-being of our service members.

LTJG OTADOY MAC PCG rendered distinguished service during the search and rescue operations conducted in connection with the maritime incident involving MV Trisha Kerstin 3 in the vicinity waters of Baluk-Baluk Island, Basilan.

In recognition of her commendable service, she was awarded the Coast Guard Merit Medal and Ribbon. The awarding ceremony was spearheaded by the Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard, ADM RONNIE GIL L GAVAN PCG, on 03 March 2026.

Her achievement brings pride and honor to the Medical Administrative Corps and the entire Philippine Coast Guard.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 👀 : In line with the professional development of all MAC Officers, The Office of the Chief Medical Administrative Corps under the leadership of 𝘾𝘼𝙋𝙏 𝙄𝙍𝙀𝙉𝙀 𝙎 𝙂𝘼𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙊 𝙈𝘼𝘾 𝙋𝘾𝙂 (𝘿𝙎𝘾) successfully conducted an online Troop Information and Education (TI&E) session on 05 February 2026.

The first part of the activity consisted of a lecture on the 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗖𝗚 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀, conducted by 𝘾𝘿𝙍 𝙍𝙊𝙓𝘼𝙉𝙉𝙀 𝙈 𝘾𝘼𝘾𝘼𝙉𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙄𝙉 𝙈𝘼𝘾 𝙋𝘾𝙂, which highlighted the core responsibilities and mandate of the PCG MAC. The second part was facilitated by 𝙇𝙏 𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝘾𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝙅𝙊𝙔 𝙎 𝙍𝘼𝙈𝙊𝙎 𝙈𝘼𝘾 𝙋𝘾𝙂, focusing on the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗖𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗖 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 and emphasizing professionalism, discipline, and ethical conduct in the service of the Philippine Coast Guard’s mission.

Philippine Coast Guard Medical Administrative Corps Badge Pinning Ceremony

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Philippine Coast Guard Medical Administrative Corps (PCG MAC) held its Badge Pinning Ceremony at the National Headquarters Philippine Coast Guard Function Hall last February 12, 2025.

The ceremony was joined by the Chief, Medical Administrative Corps, CDR FARRAH S DALUSONG MAC PCG with the Deputy Chief Surgeon, CAPT JOSEPH ALEJANDRO L TRINIDAD MC PCG as its Guest of Honor. This momentous event was attended face to face by PCG MAC Officers from different units in Manila-Cavite Area and nationwide from different PCG Districts and Regional Training Centers via Zoom Video Teleconference.

The badge pinning ceremony is a symbolic event that recognizes the PCG MAC Officers as an essential part of the PCG Organization with their primary role of carrying out the administrative responsibilities of the Medical Service. By wearing the MAC badge, it represents each MAC Officer’s hard work and dedication in upholding the standards, ethics, and values of the Corps.

The donning and oath taking ceremony was held yesterday, October 2,2023 during the Monday Morning Colors aboard National Headquarters, Philippine Coast Guard with the the Commandant, Philippine Coast Guard (CPCG) CG ADM ARTEMIO M ABU as Presiding Officer.

The 19 newly-commissioned MAC officers are proud members of Coast Guard Officers Course Class 28-2022 “Charlie”.
