Reopening the filing of applications for the July 2025 IDLE

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the filing of applications for the July 2025 Interior Designers Licensure Examination (IDLE) is now open until June 13, 2025.

All required documents for the filing of an application to take the licensure exam must be submitted to PRC on or before June 13, 2025.

July 2024 Licensure Examination for Interior Designers Results Released in Twelve (12) Working Days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 119 out of 400 passed the Licensure Examination for Interior Designers given by the Board of Interior Design in N.C.R. and Cebu this July 2024.

The members of the Board of Interior Design who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Sonia Santiago Olivares, Chairman; Hon. Maria Carlota D. Hilvano and Hon. Vincent Louie V. Tan, Members.

The results were released in twelve (12) working days after the last day of examination.

Starting September 9, 2024, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

PRC SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTS COMPUTER-BASED LICENSURE
EXAMINATION FOR GEOLOGISTS

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) successfully conducted the Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CBLE) for the Geology profession last December 27, 28, and 29, 2021. Accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic which has posted unprecedented challenges in the country's licensure examination system, the PRC primarily through its Information and Communications Technology Service and Licensure Office developed its in-house CBLE system compliant with current technical and security requirements of specific professional regulatory laws and stakeholders.

With a specific schedule and venue, the three-day CBLE was conducted in Manila among one hundred forty-two (142) examinees that reported. Other CBLEs with this feature are also scheduled in the first quarter of 2022.

CBLEs “on-demand”, that is, at any venue and at any time, are also being contemplated, depending on the applicable rules, acceptable technology, and available resources for the profession.

The CBLE seeks to further enhance the efficiency and integrity in the administration of the licensure examinations for competent and competitive professionals needed by the services sector in the country and overseas.
