Nakikiisa ang Sangguniang Kabataan kasama ng Sangguniang Barangay at ang ating masisipag na BNS Team Esperanza sa Selebrasyon ng Nutrition Month na may temang "New Normal na Nutrisyon, Sama-Samang Gawan ng Solusyon". Nagkaroon tayo ng feeding program at aktibdades na may kinalaman sa nutrisyon pra sa mga kabataan ng ating barangay. Namahagi din tayo ng Nutrisyon Packs sa ating nasasapukan na may edad na 0-59 months old.

Ang pagkakaroon ng tamang nutrisyon at malusog na pangangatawan ay mahalaga sa pagpapanatili ng matibay na resistensya laban sa anumang uri ng sakit gaya ng COVID-19 virus.

Ngayong Buwan ng Nutrisyon, patuloy na labanan ang COVID-19 at maging parte o bahagi tayo sa pagsulong ng wasto, tama at sapat na Nutrisyon bilang aksyon tungo sa malusog na komunidad.

OFFICIAL MPIO NEWS RELEASE: Isko lifts use of face shields as requirement except in medical facilities.

Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso lifted on Monday, November 8, the use of face shields in the City of Manila.

Domagoso signed Executive Order No. 42 declaring the use of face shields as non-mandatory except in hospital setting, medical clinics, and other medical facilities.

"Yung inyong mga kahilingan, mga sulat, at messages na pag-aralan mabuti yung paggamit ng face shield, dininig na po ng inyong lingkod.," Domagoso said

"Ang kailangan na lang nating gawin ay mag face mask para kahit paano maibsan ang inyong gastusin araw-araw dahil sa face shield na yan," he added.

Under the Executive Order, it cited a report that Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año said that many members of the Inter-Agency Tasked Force favored the removal of face shields as requirement.

The order further cited the de-escalation of the alert level status of the City of Manila and the rest of the National Capital Region last November 4.

To recall, it has been an appeal of Domagoso to the national government to drop its face shield policy as it only adds to the expenses of the general public amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Mayor, the government must focus on the procurement of medicines such as Tocilizumab and Remdesivir.

"Rest assured na kapag bumuti nang bumuti ang sitwasyon sa tulong ng taong bayan ay luluwag ng luluwag. Bibilisan lang natin ang ating kilos, tingin ko mapupunta na tayo sa new normal," Domagoso said.

The Bureau of Permit and Licenses Office, the Manila Barangay Bureau, the Manila Health Department, and the hospital directors are therefore directed for the information dissemination and strict implementation.

The order shall take effect immediately.
