Ang Nipah virus (NiV) ay isang bihira pero delikadong virus na maaaring magdulot ng lagnat, hirap sa paghinga, at impeksiyon sa utak.

Paano ito kumakalat?
• Kontaminadong prutas
• Dagta ng hilaw na date palm
• Close contact sa infected na tao o hayop

Paano makaiiwas?
- Hugasang palagi ang kamay.
- Iwasan ang prutas na may kagat o nahulog.
- Magsuot ng mask kapag may sakit.
- Magpatingin agad kung may sintomas.

Paalala: Sa kasalukuyan, wala pang bakuna o tiyak na lunas laban sa virus na ito.
