Greetings, young ones. As I have said yesterday, there will be a formal announcement (albeit later than scheduled) about the page's status. As such, here goes. This page was put in hiatus ever since I was no longer able to keep up with balancing school and my admin-ing responsibilities. Now that my time has freed up a bit, I am now able to formally announce that I am re-opening the page by the next couple of weeks. Posts will once again be available through this page and I assure you that I will return as host once more. Be sure to keep checking back to see updates and posts in the following weeks. Thank you and good evening. ~Admin KDG

And with that, Dark hour comes to a close. If everyone is interested in learning more about the segment or you just want to read a lot more posts like the ones I've been posting, just visit this page, where you can re-read all of the Dark Hour posts from Day 1. By the way, special thanks to Ms. Meia Alvarez for pushing me to write this story. (She's the zombie on the last pic) And with that, I must bid you all adieu. :) Goodnight everyone. ~Admin KDG

It was helpless. Her teacher had a firm grip on her hair and he was gnashing his teeth as if to bite her. She fought as much as her strength could muster but a few moments more, she inevitably grew tired. All she could do was pathetically push against her teacher's head as his jaw slowly made contact on her soft neck. "This was supposed to be a day of change," she muttered, her breath slowly fading away. As the last doses of life savagely left Meia's body, she realized that this really was a day she'll never forget. ~Admin KDG

She turned a corner to avoid seeing the massacre happening around her when she suddenly bumped into someone. She looked up to see that it was her teacher. It seems she already circled the halls in her desperate attempt to flee. She nearly felt relieved to see a familiar face. But before she could say anything, she felt him sharply tug at her hair. She tried to scream but it got caught in her throat when she saw that her teacher was bleeding from his side. She saw a deranged look in his eye that scared her. It was the same look she saw just a while ago. She struggled and tried to fight back, but what harm could a little girl do to a full grown man? Is he still a man? He was missing a huge chunk of his abdomen. He was bleeding excessively at his side. He was clearly dead but alive at the same time, somehow. ~Admin KDG

She started running. She didn't want to see what was happening around her. She ran aimlessly. Desperately trying to find solace in the chaos that erupted during her first day of school. She saw things that she wished she didn't. People, not from her school, killing other people. She darted past them so fast so she wasn't sure about what she saw. She thought she saw them eating each other. She didn't want to believe it. She wanted to erase what she saw. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen, she told herself.

She lost focus when she heard screams from the next room. Before she could react, another set of screams echoed from down the hall, then from the room before them. In an instant, the dream of a quiet highschool life turned into a nightmare as the whole school seemed to be engulfed in a wave of screams coming from every direction. With fear sinking in, Meia decided to run. Heed the man's advice and run. Danger was around them. Some kind of attack in the school. She had to escape before whatever was attacking the school got to her.

As the shocking scene unfolded, everyone in the room panicked. Some frantically tried to calm down everyone else. The others weren't too keen on the idea of calming down. Meia wanted to get out of the room for some reason. Something didn't feel right. She could feel it in her gut. She was too focused on what she heard.
"Run."

It happened just before the final bell rang. Midway through the teachers final notes on today's lesson, a man burst into their room, shocking everyone. The man fell not two feet away from Meia. Their teacher, still shocked with disbelief, rushed towards the man. Meia could barely understand what the man was stammering about but she clearly heard a single word that immediately sent chills down her spine.
"Run."

First Day of Class
Meia was looking forward to her first day of high school all summer. Thoughts of new friends and opportunities filled her head as she patiently waited for this day all throughout summer. What she saw was clearly not expected. The classroom was only half full. Most students were busy talking among themselves, not excitedly, but in hushed voices. Others, simply slouched on their armchairs, visibly bored. But not her. She wasn't going to let it get to her. Not on this day. This is a day of change. A day she'll never forget. ~Admin KDG

It has been a long time since I've been able to grace the page with this aura. For so long, I've been asleep. Waiting for a chance like this. To bring darkness to a page filled with innocent light. This is Dark Hour. Good evening, everyone. :) ~Admin KDG
