The DOF GAD Secretariat conducted a two-day Training-Workshop on the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) and the Program/Project Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation Tools (PIMME) on September 10–11, 2025, at the Department of Finance (DOF).

The session was led by Ms. Josephine Khaleen Moises-Sasuman, aiming to strengthen the participants’ knowledge and capacity in gender mainstreaming and results-based project implementation.

The DOF GAD Secretariat successfully conducted a Sectoral Workshop on "Leading with Empathy: HR’s Role in Inclusive Wellness" on July 11, 2025, at Kingsford Hotel Manila, Parañaque City.

The workshop aimed to equip HR professionals with the mindset, tools, and awareness needed to cultivate a culture of well-being and inclusion in the workplace. Through reflective activities and practical frameworks, participants explored how empathy can enhance workplace dynamics, address unconscious biases, and support the diverse wellness needs of employees.

Awareness Seminar on Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (SEAH) in the Workplace was successfully conducted on 09 July 2025 at the Function Room, 7th flr, DOF Building with Atty. Allen Espino, President, FORA Communications and Member, Natiónal GAD Resource Pool, serving as the resource speaker at the DOF.

A seminar on Gender-Fair Language and Images was successfully conducted on 10 June 2025, with Atty. Allen Espino, President, FORA Communications and Member, Natiónal GAD Resource Pool, serving as the resource speaker at the DOF.

The DOF GAD Secretariat conducted a two-day Gender Sensitivity Seminar from June 2 to 3, 2025, at the Department of Finance, Manila. The training was organized for newly hired personnel and employees who had not yet attended or completed previous Gender Sensitivity Trainings. It was facilitated by Director Noreen Boots G. Gragasin, Director IV of the Integrated Records Management Office (IRMO) at the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) and a member of the National GAD Resource Pool.

A Self-defense Training with Krav Maga Instructor Dino, was conducted on March 18, 2025 by the DOF GFPS, at the DOF Gym, as part of the Women’s Month Celebration

2025 National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) Kick-off Activity

The DOF officially launched its 2025 National Women's Month Celebration on March 3, 2025, during the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Podium level, DOF Building, with the theme, "Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas." The celebration highlights the significant role of women in shaping the future of the nation.
