The DOJ–Office for Competition invites you to participate in the Gender and Competition Economics Workshop as part of its Gender and Development (GAD) Program for FY 2026 on March 13, 2026 (Friday) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the DOJ Justice Halls 2-3 and online through Google Meet.
The workshop aims to enhance participants’ understanding of the intersection between gender and competition economics, highlighting how competition policy can promote inclusive markets, equal economic opportunities, and gender-responsive policy-making. The activity will discuss gender-related issues in market participation and competition enforcement.
For those who will not be able to join us on-site or via Google Meet, the workshop will be streamed live through the official page of the DOJ-OFC.

The Department of Justice - Philippines Office for Competition (DOJ-OFC) conducted a capacity building activity on the topic of "Competition Law and Case Build-Up Workshop" at the University Hotel, University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman Campus, Diliman Quezon City.
Various Competition Law experts graced the UP Hotel grounds with their mastery of the law including the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) director Atty. Christian Delos Santos, Jenno Z. Ravalo, and Atty. Marco Carlo Sana.
The event, spearheaded by the DOJ-OFC through its director Atty. Caesar Francisco under the guidance of USEC Jesse T. Andres, was attended by various Competition Law luminaries, and neophyte learners from different government and private institutions including: Department of Agriculture (DA), Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), House of Representatives (HREp), Committee on Banks and Financial Intermediaries (CBFI), Special Committee on Land Use (SCL), National Prosecution Service (NPS), Committee on Metro Manila Development (CMMD), Competition Law and Policy Program (CLPP), University of the Philippines College of Law (UP-Law), National Tobacco Administration (NTA), Committee on Flagship Programs and Projects (CFPP), and other private lawyers.

The Department of Justice - Office for Competition is excited to announce back-to-back Sectoral Consultative Workshops on Competition Enforcement and Consumer Protection to be held successively on November 20 and 21, 2024.
These workshops will provide attendees a comprehensive introduction to the criminal aspect of competition law. The ultimate goal is to foster collaboration and dialogue among key sectors to strengthen enforcement, enhance consumer rights, and streamline regulatory processes in the Philippines. These serve as an opportunity for public officials and private practitioners to connect, share insights, and contribute to a more efficient and competitive economic landscape.
