Courage That Built a Nation 🇵🇭

On April 9, 1942, Bataan fell but the spirit of its defenders never did. Today, we remember the bravery and sacrifice of Filipino heroes who stood their ground during World War II. Their courage became a symbol of resilience and love for country.

Let us honor them, and never forget the heroes who shaped our freedom. ✊🏻

On this quiet day, we sit in stillness, reflecting on hope even in moments of waiting. May this day remind us that even in silence and uncertainty, faith continues to grow. As we pause, let us hold on to the promise that light will rise again. 🕊️

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. ✝️🤍

It is a solemn day in the Christian faith, reminding us of His ultimate act of love and redemption. Let us take this day to reflect, pray, and embrace compassion, not just today, but in every action we take.

This Maundy Thursday, we are reminded of true greatness found in humility and service.

As we reflect on the events of the Last Supper and the selfless love shown through simple acts, may we carry the spirit of compassion and kindness in our hearts. Let today inspire us to love others with sincerity and intention. 🤍

Empowerment begins with simple words. 💌💜

A few words written with kindness can reach someone who needs them the most, to remind them of their worth.

May these words inspire confidence, spark positivity, and empower every woman to continue leading, inspiring, and making a difference wherever she goes. ✊🏻

How does it truly feel to be a woman? 💁🏼‍♀️

In celebration of Women’s Month, PUP CommSoc gathered voices from women in the community to share their experiences and reflections as a woman. Their stories echo the Babylan spirit that was rooted in ancestral wisdom, strength, and unity towards a more inclusive society.

Let us honor their struggles, step into their shoes, and let’s carry the fight for an inclusive society into our everyday actions all year round.

Walang lugar sa tahanan ang magkakahon sa kababaihan. ✊🏻💜

For a long time, women have been told where they belong. “Para ka lang sa kusina, taga-luto para sa pamilya.” But neither a home nor a kitchen should stop their becoming.

From this month and beyond, as long as women are told what they should be, we protest and we shatter the cage that tries to define them. Because women are never meant to fit inside the box that the patriarchy created for them.
