Under the Safer Cities Initiative of the Department of the Interior and Local Government led by SILG Jonvic Remulla, the implementation of existing local ordinances will be strengthened to ensure peace, order, and public safety in our community.

Strict enforcement of curfew for minors, prohibition of street drinking, regulation of late-night noise and videoke, and firm action against public nuisance will be carried out. Police and barangay visibility will also be intensified to allow faster response and stronger crime deterrence.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat kay Congressman Joel Chua sa pagbibigay ng wheelchair at kay Konsi Jeff Lau para sa walker na pinagkaloob para sa ina ni Kagawad Jolly Ann Monserrat. Ito po’y mas naging posible sa direktang pakikipag-usap ng ating butihing Kapitana Ma Veronica Diasanta. Ang agarang aksyon na ito ay patunay lamang ng kanilang buhos na malasakit at responsableng paglilingkod sa ating nasasakupan.

ADVISORY: MAGSUOT NG FACE MASK SA PAGLABAS NG BAHAY 😷

Inaabisuhan ng Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department ang lahat ng Manileño na magsuot ng face mask kapag lalabas ng bahay, alinsunod sa patuloy na pagmomonitor sa kalagayan ng kalidad ng hangin sa Kapitolyo ng bansa.

Batay sa Air Quality Index (AQI) mula sa apat na monitoring locations sa ilalim ng Hinga Maynila Program ngayong Abril 11, 2026, alas-5:00 ng hapon, naitalang nasa “Fair” ang Anda Circle, San Sebastian Residences, at Sta. Ana Hospital, habang ang Puregold Tayuman ay nasa antas na “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.”

Dahil dito, maaaring makaranas ng hindi magandang epekto sa kalusugan ang mga kabilang sa sensitibong sektor, lalo na ang mga bata, senior citizens, buntis, at mga may iniindang sakit sa baga, puso, o hika. Pinapayuhan ang mga may respiratory illness tulad ng asthma na iwasan o limitahan ang outdoor activities sa mga lugar na apektado ng UFSG level ng hangin.

Ayon sa monitoring, maaaring maiugnay ito sa makapal na usok mula sa nagpapatuloy na sunog sa Navotas Sanitary Landfill, na umaabot sa Metro Manila at mga karatig-lalawigan.

Pinapayuhan ang publiko na maging maingat, limitahan ang matagal na pananatili sa labas kung hindi kinakailangan, at ugaliing magsuot ng face mask bilang pag-iingat laban sa masamang epekto ng maruming hangin.

Patuloy pong minomonitor ng mga kinauukulang tanggapan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ang sitwasyon upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat Manileño.

Veronica Diasanta kasama ang mga miyembro ng mga Barangay Police sa pangunguna ng ating ExO Antonio Delos Santos, upang talakayin dito ang mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng curfew para sa mga menor de edad, pagbabawal ng pag-inom sa pampublikong lugar, regulasyon sa ingay at videoke sa gabi, at aksyon laban sa public nuisance sa ating nasasakupan.

Ito’y alinsunod lamang sa ilalim ng Safer Cities initiative na programa ng Department of the Interior and Local Government sa pamumuno ni SILG Jonvic Remulla na naglalayong palakasin ang kapayapaan at kaayusan sa mga lungsod at komunidad sa pamamagitan ng mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng mga umiiral na batas at lokal na ordinansa.
