💜 𝗶𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻: 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 — 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲✊
FEU Tech’s Community Extension Services successfully held the 𝐢𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐊𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧: 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 — 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 forum last March 11, 2026, at the FEU Tech Gymnasium. This powerful event brought together influential leaders and change-makers to explore the evolving role of women in governance, digital security, and peacebuilding.
The program opened with a warm welcome from Senior Director for Human Resource 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗖. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼, followed by a solidarity message from Senior Director for Academic Services 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗔. 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀, who emphasized the importance of legislative strides toward gender inclusivity.
A highlight of the afternoon was the special address by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗜. 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗼, House Representative of Gabriela Partylist, who challenged the youth to break barriers and lead with purpose in shaping a more equitable society.
The forum featured an extensive exchange of insights from a powerhouse lineup of guest panelists. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘀, Chief Content Officer of INQUIRER.net, provided critical perspectives on women, peace, and security in the digital age. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘇 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗮, 𝗥𝗦𝗪, a Licensed Social Worker, explored women leading peace and conflict resolution in communities, followed by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗰-𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 of FEU Manila’s IAS Faculty, who spoke on shaping peace through education, youth engagement, and values formation. Additionally, 𝗠𝘅. 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇𝗮, 𝗝𝗿. from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity shared insights on building peace through diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Another major highlight of the event was the Panel Discussion, which focused on the multifaceted role of 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈. The panelists delved into how women act as pillars of stability in their communities, bridging gaps through empathy and strategic leadership. Following the discussion, the floor was opened for a question-and-answer session, where the guest panelists directly addressed the inquiries of FEU Tech students. These exchanges allowed for a deeper exploration of gender-related challenges and provided the youth with practical advice on how to contribute to a more just and peaceful society.
To wrap up the insightful event, Discipline Unit Coordinator 𝗠𝘀. 𝗬𝘃𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗚. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗻𝗲𝘁 delivered the concluding message, reminding the FEU Tech community that the fight for equality is a collective responsibility.
This initiative directly translates our institutional advocacy into action, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟰 (𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻), 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟱 (𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆), 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟬 (𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀), 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟲 (𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟳 (𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀).

In celebration of National Women's Month, FEU Tech through the Community Extension Services, National Service Training Program, and the Discipline Unit brings 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐀 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩, a meaningful initiative that empowers women through agriculture and sustainability.
In partnership with 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, the activity highlights how unused spaces can be transformed into productive gardens that support food production and help enrich the environment 🌿🌍
