Cadets who are RAATI Participants and Special Units will remain on a face-to-face setup and are advised to follow the previously given instructions and schedule for the activity.

Furthermore, an online consultation will be conducted to address cadet concerns and provide necessary guidance regarding the training activities.

NOTES:
** Wear Type A uniform (upper and lower fatigue, plain white round-neck t-shirt, green garrison belt with Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas logo, black pistol belt, long black socks, combat boots, and ball cap).
** If none, wear Type C uniform (plain white round-neck t-shirt, green garrison belt with Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas logo, maong pants, white socks, rubber shoes.
** Bring the following: extra white shirt, bottled spray alcohol, drinking water (preferably in a tumbler), packed lunch, face towel, ballpoint pen, green tickler, plain white handkerchief, and mini fan/hand fan.
** Stay hydrated at all times and ensure the water supply is sufficient for the whole duration of training.
** Observe proper grooming: no accessories, no artificial hair color, no facial hair, nails must be trimmed; males must have clean-cut hair, and females must have neatly bunned hair with a hairnet.

On 17 May 2026, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit accomplished its 10th Training Day, with discussions on Squad Tactical Operations (Patrolling) and Combat Individual Training focused on cover, concealment, and camouflage. The lectures equipped cadets with essential knowledge and tactical skills necessary for movement, protection, and survivability during military operations.

As part of the virtual training, cadets actively participated in the training activities, strengthening their understanding of coordination, discipline, and the importance of tactical preparedness in different operational situations.

These lectures reflect the commitment of the cadets to strengthen their knowledge, maintain discipline, and enhance their overall preparedness. The PUPROTCU continues to develop capable and service-oriented future leaders.

On 10 May 2026, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit accomplished its 9th Training Day through an online lecture session, with discussions on Personal Development and Battlefield Tactics. The lectures equipped cadets with essential knowledge on self-discipline, leadership, decision-making, and tactical strategies applied in military operations.

Throughout the session, cadets actively participated in the virtual training activities, strengthening their understanding of responsibility, coordination, and the importance of preparedness in different operational situations.

As part of the training, cadets also prepared for the upcoming Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) to enhance overall readiness for the assessment.

The training day served as a reminder of the discipline, commitment, and dedication expected from every cadet, as the PUPROTCU continues to develop future leaders dedicated to service.

On 03 May 2026, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit successfully conducted its 7th and 8th Training Days, focusing on both academic development and operational readiness.

During the morning session, cadets completed their Midterm Examination, assessing their understanding of previous lessons. This was followed by a lecture on Map Reading, contributing to the development of their analytical skills and enhancing their overall preparedness for field operations.

In the afternoon, the lecture shifted to Signal Communication, where cadets were introduced to the technical aspects of clear and effective communication, as well as the importance of coordination in various operational scenarios.

At the same time, cadets selected for the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) underwent intensive preparation and practice, maintaining the unit’s standards and ensuring readiness for the upcoming evaluation.

These activities highlight the continuous effort of the unit to develop competent, disciplined, and mission-ready cadets. Each training day serves as a step forward in shaping future leaders committed to service.

On this day, The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit honors and recognizes all Filipinos for their persistence and for continuing to push through each day. Owing to our laborers’ hard work and efforts, we thank them for continuously showing up despite all the hardships they face as they help to keep everything around us going the way it should.

Today, we take a moment to appreciate all our laborers’ efforts for our nation, and to remember the value of respect and fairness in every workplace they are in. May this day become a simple reminder that their hard work matters, and they deserve to be treated with dignity, gratitude, and genuine appreciation for each and every one of them.
