As part of its ongoing efforts to support the observance of the National Women’s Month Celebration and to strengthen personnel welfare and development, the Coast Guard Strategic Studies and International Affairs Center (CGSSIAC) conducted a three-day Neuropsychological Assessment on 19, 25, and 26 March 2026 at the CGSSIAC Working Area, Ground Floor, Citadel Building, 637 Bonifacio Drive, Port Area, Manila 1018, Metro Manila.

The activity aimed to assess the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of personnel, providing deeper understanding of mental health, stress management, and overall well-being. This initiative highlights the importance of maintaining a healthy and resilient workforce.

Through this effort, CGSSIAC continues to support the welfare of its personnel while reinforcing its commitment to mental health awareness and readiness, in line with the mission of the Philippine Coast Guard.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The Coast Guard Strategic Studies and International Affairs Center (CGSSIAC) successfully held the CGSSIAC Women’s Sportsfest 2026 in line with the month-long observance of the National Womens' Month on 23 March 2026 at the KCFAPI Center, Intramuros, Manila.

The event opened with the grand entrance of teams, followed by opening remarks from 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐎 𝐀𝐋𝐆𝐈𝐄𝐑 𝐃 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐂𝐆, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐂𝐆𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐂, who highlighted the value of sports in promoting discipline, teamwork, and respect. He emphasized that beyond winning or losing, the true essence of sports lies in the effort given, the teamwork demonstrated, and the lasting memories created.

Through various sports events and team-building activities, participants engaged in friendly competition that promoted camaraderie, inclusivity, and empowerment, underscoring the essential role of women in the organization.

The event concluded with closing remarks from 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐏 𝐂𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐏 𝐏𝐂𝐆, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐂𝐆𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐂, who emphasized teamwork, mutual respect, and collective growth. She further stressed that the success of the event reflects strong organizational synergy, where the support of male personnel helped uplift and empower women’s achievements.

As part of the month-long observance of the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration, the Coast Guard Strategic Studies and International Affairs Center (CGSSIAC), through the Coast Guard Nursing Service, conducted HIV, AIDS, and STI Awareness, Counseling, and Testing on 18 March 2026 at the CGSSIAC Working Area, Citadel Building, Bonifacio Drive, Port Area, Manila.

The activity aimed to enhance participants' awareness and understanding of HIV, AIDS, and STIs by providing essential information on transmission, symptoms, prevention, and the importance of eliminating stigma. It also included confidential counseling and voluntary testing, allowing participants to determine their health status and receive appropriate professional guidance and referrals.

This initiative highlights the Center's dedication to fostering a health conscious, resilient, and mission ready force through health education and preventive care.
