This International Women’s Day, we recognize the women leaders who continue to lead, organize, and challenge the spaces they occupy!

In student leadership, women are not merely present—they are at the forefront of advocacy, accountability, and transformative change. From classrooms to councils, publications, and organizations, from mobilizations to policy discussions, they confront barriers, dismantle sexist norms, and prove that leadership rooted in courage and conviction reshapes institutions.
Their leadership is not an exception. It is a force, a powerful one!

This month, and every day, we stand with the women of CPSPA who refuse silence, demand equity, and lead the struggle for a more just and inclusive academic community.

𝗕𝗨𝗛𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗪𝗔 𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔, 𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗔 𝗡𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡! ✊🏻

Ngayong ika-40 anibersaryo ng EDSA People Power, hindi ito para lamang magdiwang ng isang makasaysayang petsa, bagkus, upang alalahanin na ang EDSA Uprising ay hindi simpleng pahina sa libro ng kasaysayan, ito ay patunay na kapag nagkaisa ang mamamayan, kayang patumbahin ang diktadura at panagutin ang mapang-abuso. Mula kay Marcos Sr. hanggang ngayon, kay Marcos Jr.

Ngunit sa kasalukuyan, malinaw ang mga tangkang baluktutin ang kasaysayan at palabasing kathang-isip ang mga krimen ng nakaraan. Sa ilalim ng administrasyon nina Marcos Jr. at Sara Duterte, patuloy nating nasasaksihan ang kakulangan ng pananagutan sa mga mandarambong, ang normalisasyon ng political dynasty, at ang patuloy na pagpapatahimik sa mga kabataang pilipino.

Bilang mga Iskolar ng Bayan, may tungkulin tayong manindigan. Kung hindi man magsuspinde ng klase ang pamahalaan, hindi nangangahulugang suspendido ang ating konsensya. Hindi nangangahulugang ititigil natin ang pag-alala at pagkilos ng mga kabataang lingkod-bayan!

Ang tunay na diwa ng edukasyon ay hindi nakakulong sa apat na sulok ng silid-aralan, ito ay nasa kalsada, nasa pagkilos, nasa paninindigan!

Hindi makakalimot. Hindi mananaig ang kasamaan at kadiliman sa kapangyarihan ng kabataan at mamamayan!

𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗡, 𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗬! 🎉

Sa bawat letrang iyong isinusulat at sa bawat tungkuling iyong tinatahak, malinaw na naipapamalas ang iyong matibay na determinasyon at pusong lingkod-bayan. Ang iyong paglilingkod ay tumatagos sa puso ng bawat taong iyong nakakasalamuha—hayagang nasasalamin ang iyong malasakit, matatag na paninindigan, at taos-pusong hangaring magsilbi para sa ikabubuti ng lahat.

Patuloy na pagsilbihan ang sangkaestudyantehan at ang bayan! ✊🏻

Ang iyong determinasyon sa iyong paglilingkod ay tumatagos sa puso ng bawat taong nakakatrabaho mo. Sa bawat gawa, malinaw ang iyong malasakit, prinsipyo, at tunay na hangaring magsilbi hindi para sa sarili, kundi para sa nakararami. Nawa’y patuloy kang maging inspirasyon sa marami at gabayan ng lakas at talino sa bawat hakbang na iyong tatahakin. Mabuhay ka, at nawa’y mas marami ka pang buhay na mabago sa iyong pamumuno!

Unity Statement of CPSPA Formations on International Human Rights Day

As we mark the 77th year of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Filipino people stand not in celebration but in dire discontent and rage. The nation is besieged by a system that has institutionalized plunder and repression.

History has repeatedly demonstrated that no alliance between two power-hungry factions is permanent. They will eventually be driven by the intense friction of their conflicting ambitions. It is this same reason that the so-called "unity" between Marcos and Duterte factions was dissolved into a dynastic war as they tear each other apart in a desperate struggle for influence and dominance. While two camps collide, the Filipino people are being trampled over -- they remain mired in poverty, their interests sidelined, while they endure consistent state attacks on their rights and civil liberties.

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘁. They remain united in a singular, parasitic objective: to bleed the nation dry. History has already cast its judgment upon them -- they are nothing more than unrepentant plunderers and fascists.

𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗨𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘
The right to life is meaningless when the funds meant to save lives are siphoned into the pockets of dynastic warlords. The exposure of the P545-billion Flood Control Scam stands as a monument to this administration's criminal negligence. While typhoons battered our provinces and submerged our cities this year, leaving thousands displaced and livelihoods destroyed, we learned that the dikes and spillways promised to us were nothing but "ghost projects."

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹, 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗿. The Marcos administration’s unprogrammed funds and the Vice President’s confidential funds are not just budgetary issues -- they are instruments of economic violence. They represent the theft of our right to survival, safety, and a dignified existence.

The systemic corruption is not only an issue of plunder on public funds, but also a strong manifestation of the administration's piling human rights violence to the nation.

𝗔 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦
As systemic plunder bleeds the nation dry, the people’s resistance is surging into an undeniable tide. The Marcos-Duterte regime is not merely watching; it is actively weaponizing the national budget to bankroll state fascism. They are oiling the gears of terror machineries by funding NTF-ELCAC, PNP, and AFP to red-tag dissenters, abduct and intimidate citizens and activists, and further militarize the countryside.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵, 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Yet, the State forgets a stark lesson in our long history of struggle: repression and crisis breeds resistance. Every blood spilled, every rights denied, and every future taken only fuels the necessity of our struggle for genuine liberation.

𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
The time for observing history from the comfort of our screens and classrooms is over. We are witnessing the systemic plunder of our future. If there is something to root for amidst this crisis, it is nothing but the strong unity of the Filipino people. Our unity has already toppled a dictatorship, exposed the corruption and injustice of every regime, and has championed the rights and justice we enjoy today. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘂𝘀.

The power of the people is the only force capable of ending this nightmare. From the streets of Manila to the countryside, we will march and struggle toward social justice and freedom.

Sa bagong halal na konseho ng mga lingkod-bayan, tayo ay makikinig, magsasalita, makikisali, at magbabantay sa buong akademikong taon!

Kasama ang iba’t ibang akademikong organisasyon ng kolehiyo, muling nilapag nina Elected President Cherry at Elected Vice President Jascha ang hangarin nila sa kolehiyo—gayundin ang pagdinig sa mga hinaing at mas konkretong suwestiyon ng mga Academic Organization Presidents!

Sa araw ng panunumpa ng mga bagong halal sa Konseho, tuloy-tuloy na magliliwanag ang diwa ng paglilingkod ng bawat Iskolar ng Bayan. Sa ilalim ng liwanag ng Sinagtala, ating ipagdiriwang hindi lamang ang tagumpay ng halalan, kundi ang panibagong yugto ng makabuluhang pamumuno. Ang ating tagumpay ay patunay na nananatiling buhay ang diwa ng Lingkod-Bayan na may malasakit, tapang, at paninindigan.

Tangan natin ang panata na patuloy na magniningning ang serbisyo at integridad. Ngayon, panahon na upang pagsamahin ang ating mga lakas para sa konsehong mas demokratiko, inklusibo, at tunay na kumakatawan sa boses ng bawat Lingkod-Bayan.

Ang ating liwanag ay hindi lamang nagmumula sa isa, kundi sa bawat Lingkod-Bayan na may pusong handang maglingkod. Dahil tayo ang panalo, at sa ating pagkakaisa, patuloy tayong magniningning para sa tunay na Nagkakaisang CPSPA.

Ituloy-tuloy na natin 'to, lingkod-bayan!

𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗝𝗛𝗢𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗨𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗜 𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗣𝗔 𝗦𝗖 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧! 🌸

Sa tinig ng mga lingkod-bayan, isang pamumuno ang ipinagkatiwala. Sa bawat boto ng pag-asa at paninindigan, itinanghal si Cherry Jhoana Ubani bilang bagong Pangulo ng CPSPA Student Council! Isang peminista, lider-kabataan, at kabataan na handang maglingkod, hindi mamuno lamang; makinig, hindi lang magsalita; at kumilos, hindi lang maghangad.

upang isakatuparan ang mga hangad na ating sinimulan noong kampanya. Translating our vision into reality. Ito ang panibagong yugto ng pagkilos at pagtupad sa mga pangarap na sabay-sabay nating itinaguyod. Sa pamamagitan ng GSPOA ng Sinagtala Coalition at SAMASA CPSPA, tayo’y magtutulungan at magdo-dobleng kayod upang patunayan na ang ating mga plano ay hindi nananatili sa papel, kundi isinasabuhay sa gawa at serbisyo.

sapagkat sa mga susunod na linggo, ilulunsad natin ang “Tao-sa-Tao Konsultasyon”, isang hakbang upang marinig mismo mula sa inyo ang inyong mga pangangailangan, hangarin, at mungkahi. Dahil ang pakikinig ay hindi natatapos sa halalan; dito nagsisimula ang tunay na serbisyo. Sama-sama nating itatag ang pamumunong may kahusayan, malasakit, at tunay na representasyon para sa bawat Iskolar ng Bayan sa ating kolehiyo.
