In commemoration of Philippine Independence Day, we invite our young readers and their parents to support the National Library of the Philippines booth at the Kalayaan: Government Programs and Services (GPS) activities on June 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Rizal Park, Luneta.

As part of our continuing efforts to improve library services, strengthen accountability, and promote transparency and integrity in the workplace, biometric attendance machines were installed in the different library branches. This initiative also supports our commitment to quality management system improvements by ensuring accurate attendance monitoring, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of professionalism and responsibility among personnel.
